I ran the calculator for you by converting 120 mg of oxycodone administered via 80 mg + 40mg of Oxycontin daily and the fentanyl strength computed is 50 mcg/hr. This calculator is VERY conservative when converting oral opioids to Fentanyl TD. So I also entered 4200 mcg and had it convert back to oxycodone. Doing this shows that 175 mcg/hr is equal to a total daily dose of oxycodone of 210 mg.
In the first half of my comment, I would like to throw some light on the Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) issue raised here...! (By the way, I do not think you should worry about it in your case.)

Traditionally, TD is known to be caused by typical antypsychotic medicines, such as Chlordiazepoxide, Haloperidol and Trifluoperazine. We'll not discuss how these medicines produce TD.

I got off of it because I experience extrapyramidal symptoms which I believe shows I may be more at risk for developing TD though my Dr has told me it is very rare to get TD on the atypical antipsychotics.
Another Dr has now put me on Trazadone for sleep, 100 mg. I read there is a potential for TD on this med too but there I also know there is potential on SSRIs like Celexa/Lexapro which I have been on for 20 years with no problems and not concerned about TD on SSRIs.
My last tetanus (Td) shot was in 2007 (9 years ago). I asked my doctor if I can have my booster shot now before I lose my health insurance in a few weeks. He told me that since I wasn't due for a booster until next year that I would have to wait (and therefore pay for it out of pocket).
Is there really a danger in getting a booster a few months early, or is he just being a jerk?

I have to get a Td or Tdap booster for college. However, when I was a baby, I had heart trouble (my heart stopped) and epileptic seizures. The doctors were not sure exactly what caused the seizures. I am now 23 years old and have not had a seizure since I was 3 days old. Is it safe for me to receive the Tdap vaccine?
Earlier this year, I was at 30 mg twice a day and it worked wonderfully for a month and then things went south. I jumped ship to Fentanyl TD before the new reformulated Opana ER came out and I am glad I did as there are many chronic pain patients across the web saying that it is 50% less effective than the original formula.

Yes, the usual age of onset of TD is between 2 years and 15 years (approx.), with 7 being the median age. That is, half of persons with TD develop it by 7 years. However, that by itself does not rule it out by any means. But technically his presentation does not yet meet the requirements of TD because he seems to be displaying only a single vocal tic right now.
Are you sure it's tardive dyskinesia? There are other movement disorders that can be caused by antipsychotics that aren't TD, and some can be controlled with things like cogentin.
If you still can't reach your doctor, see if there's a crisis line for a psych ER in your area. If it's really bad, you could go inpatient, where they might be able to wean you off a lot faster, since they can supervise you medically in that situation.
Some minor side effects for the Td vaccine are headache, swelling of lymph nodes, soreness at the vaccine site and a fever of less than 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit whose symptoms disappear within a few days, according to the Communicable Disease Control site.

The movements you describe do appear to be tics, though they may not represent the onset of TD (there is no sign at this point of a vocal tic). While this child is at the young end for tics to develop (more often the younger end of the range is 3-5 years), it is certainly not unheard of. She should be evaluated by her pediatrician and then perhaps by a pediatric neurologist.
if someone could reply, id appreciate. oh, and the TD in the title (obviously) refers to testicular deficiency...can that be caused by varicocele, thus resulting in aforementioned symptoms of sluggishness, low libido, etc..?

Thanks friend.Maybe I was lucky but I definetely had TD which was why chlorpromazine was discontinued and I did not need any antipsychotic till 3 months back.Thankfully I did not have any TD on Risperdal>Believe me Risperdal is worse than chlorpromazine.It makes a person agitated,nervous and renders a person an insomniac while taking it.I went through the worst and thankfully will be off it in 3 days.
is TD a speciality of a certain AP like risperidone say or AP's in general.
If you have never had any Tetanus vaccinations, you would want to ask your doctor about starting a series of Td shots to get the basic immunity. After that, you would get one every ten years. If you have not had the Polio vaccine, you would also want to ask your doctor about receiving the needed number of vaccinations for proper Polio immunity (usually 4-5 vaccinations).
