Your friend is a geno 1. 48 weeks minimum is recommended for geno 1. If I am reading correctly, he did not become UND until wk 20? If so, he should be extending treatment to 72 wks. His doctor does not sound competent if he was initially going to treat him for 24 wks to begin with. He is considered a slow responder because he did not go UND until wk 20. What was his viral load at wk 12?

I was first diagnosed with Hep C in 2001 after probably contracting virus in 1969. Genotype 1. As my health was generally good I have waiting for improvements in SOC treatment success. Levels generally around 400,000, ALT 55. at I have taken the leap and am now 12 weeks into SOC & Filibuvir/placebo clinical trial. I had >2.09 log reduction at week 4 and < 15 at week 8. Undetectable. No RVR but EVR which is quite the difference in treatment duration.
He prescribed 2 - 20mg packs at breakfast, 2 at lunch and 1 at dinner. Some days I have 6-8 before dinner and since he does not want me to have more than that I will skip the dinner dose. My question is - If I have a movement the first thing the following morning - prior to taking anything - is that movement still removing ammonia 12-14 after the prior dose? Or - Do I not count that as one of the movements for that day?
It is only approved for a 12 wk duration by FDA, they tried it for a 24 wk duration in the trials but failed to show a substantial benifit from a 24 wk course compared to a 12 wk course

The amount and duration of drug use plays a big part in what to expect from withdrawals. Usually, you will experience three or four days of, well, hell. If you're ready, you will get through it fine. 1. How long does it take for the medication to actually kill the bacteria and cure the gonorrhea? Is it before 7 days or on day 7?
2. With no oral sex involved, is there a risk of re infection? Even though we were both extremely careful to wash up and clean immediatly after sex?

If someone does get ARS it happens 2-4 weeks after exposure and lasts 1-2 weeks. But you can never use symptoms because they are too general.
The first two weeks your not actually pregnant.. That's the tine where eggs attaches & etc.. Do your actually pregnant for 9 & 1/2 months and lets say your 34 weeks your not 8 &1/2 months your actually just a months..
My son is 9 years old. 5 months back he suddenly developed symptoms of migrain ( headache,photosensitivity). i am a hepatitis c genotype 1 responder after 4 weeks of pegasys & ribavarin. Viral load dropped from 600000 to <15 iu/ml as per hcv quantitative analysis by taq man method on the 4th week and viral load is <15 iu/ml after 11th week. Liver is normal and complete bloodcounts appear ok. Currently completed 21 pegasys injections and take 1000mg of ribavarin per day.
For 5 months I dealt with a twitching head, 3 weeks painful eye movements, 1 week a tight sensation around my left knee, 3 months my last 2 toes on my left foot were numb all the time, 3 months of bladder/bowel problems, extreme fatigue, painful muscles in my legs. Before all of this happened I had a severe sinus infection in September.
Finally in April 2015 I got to my new Neuro. He ordered a new MRI (T3) I had an enhancing lesion in my L ON, and they same lesion on my R F.L.
I am having short Duration Period(1-1and half) and trying to concieve for almost an year.
But it is not success. Have checked with doctor they took blood test on 3rd day of my period and told everthing is normal.
and also they hav taken blood test on 21st day of my period to check progestrone level which is also normal and so they told you are ovaluatiing properly.
I am not sure why my period is short if blood test is normal.Will it be some other issue which affects pregnancy.
That information will give us a better idea of letting you know what to expect. Sorry to say but day 1 is usually the easiest, at least for me anyway. Usually at about the 30-36 hour mark is when I really start feeling it but like I said, it depends on the dosage and the duration of time used.
Do you still have pills or are you out? It might be kinda tough if you still have some of them around. The WD's in themselves are enough to make someone "give in".
Day 4 is tomorrow... a work day. I'll try and keep busy all day. I can't wait to get to D6, 7,8, etc. It's the hardest thing I've ever done. Thanks for the post and good luck to you! Realizing we've got a problem is 1/2 the equation. Keep tapering and stay on your depression meds. The mental part is huge too! I've trasured these yellow pills so long and I suppose that's why I haven't tossed them. I will soon. Still too nervous to do it now.
