No RVR but EVR which is quite the difference in treatment duration. I feel I will never make another 36 weeks of this hell. Depression is terrible, started Wellbutrin last week, not sure if it has helped yet. Have had quite the rash but find psycological sides harder than physical
As I could have been only a week or 2 from RVR arm of study (tx 24 weeks) I am questioning adding a extra 24 weeks SOC treatment. No testing between week 4 and 8.

If you look at the question again you will see that I am trying to get info on the duration of the Kristalose (lactolose) once ingested - not the amount of time it takes to have an effect but the length of time it is working in your system once taken.
FYI - I am taking Xifaxan (rather expensive though).
It is only approved for a 12 wk duration by FDA, they tried it for a 24 wk duration in the trials but failed to show a substantial benifit from a 24 wk course compared to a 12 wk course

Getting control on the right-for-you medication is not easy. I have beed T2D since 2007 and have been on a number of different Meds, some of which seemed to work but then longer term had problems. You must keep you chin up and work with your dr. to find the best contol for you.

Okay, my turn to ask a question! (Sorry, it's long!)
The trouble with having all this information (ie. Google) at our disposal these days is that when we feel something is wrong, we try to fit it into the box of a diagnosis, because clearly every grouping of symptoms falls neatly into a nice little well-established illness/disorder/syndrome, right? Ha! Just kidding.
My symptoms appear to bear similarities to MS (which is why I've been hanging out here for the last 12 months!
My question relates to the duration of ARS. I had a very low risk encounter on 29 Nov 2013, 2 weeks later had loose stool and pain in my left side that came and went with eating, going to toilet or wind. The pain is still there occasionally 7 weeks later. I didn't have any other symptoms and the loose stools stopped after 2 weeks.
