Arrowhead Completes Enrollment in Phase 1 Study of ARC-520 for the Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B

PASADENA, Calif. - October 8, 2013 - Arrowhead Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ARWR), a biopharmaceutical company developing targeted RNAi therapeutics, today announced that it completed enrollment in a Phase 1 clinical trial of ARC-520, its RNAi-based candidate against chronic hepatitis B virus infection.
Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNY) announced that it has initiated a Phase 1/2 clinical trial with ALN-HBV, a subcutaneously administered investigational RNAi therapeutic for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The Phase 1/2 trial will be conducted initially in normal healthy volunteers, and, then, in chronic HBV patients.

Getting control on the right-for-you medication is not easy. I have beed T2D since 2007 and have been on a number of different Meds, some of which seemed to work but then longer term had problems. You must keep you chin up and work with your dr. to find the best contol for you.

If ANA598 is successful in early stage development, the Company anticipates completion of the clinical, toxicology and manufacturing activities required to initiate Phase II studies of ANA598 in combination with current standard of care in mid-2009.

I went to the dr last week. (I will be 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow) anyways, when they checked my cervix they said I was dialated 1cm but that my baby's head is already at a -1. They literally had to feel behind his head for my cervix because I'm carrying so low. I was wondering if anyone knows what the -1 means? I tried to goggle it, but I couldn't find it.
monochorionic diamniotic = 1 placenta and 2 sacs.....monochorionic monoamniotic = 1 placenta and 1 sac. All three can result in identicals. If they are boy/girl it has to be di/di. Di/di can also be same gender but won't know if identical until after birth. Riskiest is mono/mono. All twin gestations are considered high risk. Two eggs and two sperm become di/di. One egg and one sperm can be any of the 3 types. If the embryo splits "late"....conjoined.
Got a call from local health dept.. they said I needed to come in and retest because the results came back 1:1 dilution.. she won't tell me what that mean exactly.. maybe she didn't know either.. just insisted I come in for retest... what does it mean?
1000 and then i read 1:2000. Which is more precise? And if the infected individual has std or is a recently infect meaning higher viral load, the odds change but its not much right?
