Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.

It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Is it possible to come off of the morphine patch, 50 mg every 3 days I think, gradually. The person I am trying to help is about 75 years old and has been on these patches about 3 years. We got her to go down from 75 mg about 6 months ago. We want to take her to 35 mg and decrease by 12.5 mg. How often and how much should we decrease by. It's important to differentiate between mcg (micrograms) and mg (milligrams) when you convert. Here is an "approximate" conversion chart that I like to share with people because it helped me so much. 1.2 mg of bupe is equivalent to approx. 10-20 mg of methadone. So what Weaver is saying is that the patch won't get you where you need to be.
