Avatar f tn It sounds like an allergic reaction, and it might not be to the estrogen in the yams but to the junk in the cream. I'd just try a lot of baths, and toss the darn cream in the trash. Hyperplasia is an overgrowth of new cells on top of what was there. What you've got is swelling of what was there already.

She went to her doctor and he gave estrogen treatments, but they really didn't help. She is taking up to three showers a day. What could be causing these sweats and how can she get them to stop. So these doctors all did a study about yams having an effect on the fertility in women. Anyone else hear about this? Seems pretty silly. Doesn't mean I'm not trying it, just saying it seems silly. I think at this point if you told me wearing my underware on my head would get me pregnant I would give it a shot at least once!

You can by an heirloom, a hot house, a cherry, a grape tomato but they are all tomatoes. I've grown yams, lived on a farm most of my life and eatin' yams most of my life. The ones that are orange inside are called yams here in the Northwest. I have read the same thing about yams, but didn't read the benefit is exclusive to African yams.

Avatar m tn Before i conceived my 2 year old, i took a concoction of pills. Royal jelly, wild yams, vitex, a multi-vitamin, bee pollen, and also a B-complex vitamin. I exercised everyday. Also, didnt drink anything caffeinated. Dont smoke, and drink very lightly. Anyways, royal jelly is suppose to improve egg quality along with an omega-3 tablet. The vitex is suppose to balance estrogen levels, helping one to be more fertile. The wild yams is to aid to releasing more than one egg.

1052633 tn?1311872678 a quick retake of my situation is i'm 33 i have only one tube and it's not functionable. i was told by an RE i was seeing in 2009 that i had high FSH levels. she did an ovarian reserve ultra sound on me and said i looked great and i wouldn't have a problem. then i went to antother RE for a 2nd opinion and she told me that it wasn't my FSH being high, but that i had elevated estrogen. this month they did a day 3 FSH & Estrogen blood test and my results came back normal.
Avatar m tn It is supposed to help ovulation and also increases the chances of having multiple eggs released. Another way you could go is IFV. This procedure is very expensive and most insurance companies do not cover it. But if you have the money you can select how many eggs and even a gender - if it works. Some people have to have many treatments to finally fall pregnant. I have also heard of woman eating a specific kind of Yams during ovulation can increase the chance of having twins. Good luck!!

Fresh fruit and vege are the best, snack on nuts and try to avoid junk food, also gave up my coffee, and grean tea as it has reverse effects to my folic acid supplement. Drinking Rooibos tea with no sugar and no milk.. water is very good as well, 8 glasses a day. My 2nd IVF worked out, I m Postive...waiting to see my scan soon.
Avatar n tn t have, and was placed on a higher dose of estrogen. I use the vivelle dot patch, oral estrogen and vaginal estrogen. This seems to have helped the urinary problems amongst other things. Are you on hormone replacement? There is a great book I am reading called "Screaming to be heard" by Elizabeth Vliet MD and it really goes into detail on how hormones affect every organ system. Are you on Hormone replacement? I hope this helps, and I hope you get some answers.

I feel very washed out and depressed. Is this the start of the menopause or something else? Its a holiday weekend here so Doctors are closed.
