No 168 days can be conclusive..... because old elisa test can't detect antibobies in 3 months..... so the test at 6 months can be conclusive.... if you are immuno compramised (i.e diabetic, t.b. vitamin deficiency.
probably the best to consult your GP, or Dr. EWH or HHH online; but I don't think you need more test.
cmia reported to be positive in that report ELISA is negative. Respectively on 8 March, 30 March and 3 may go on a test center for HIV, the test is ELISA HIV1 2 (Ag AB), report the result is negative. I would like to ask the doctor I can exclude the?? and test center staff told me that CMIA inspection accuracy than ELISA high.

I might have had a exposer to HIV virus on the same week. I am still on the meds today. I had a HIV 1/2/O elisa at 2months and 25 days since exposure from quest. ICMA 1/2/O Antibody test from labcorp at 3months and 25 days since exposure both negative. Are they conclusive on meds? I am getting treated for latent tuberculosis.
I have always been healty (no cancer, no chemo, no surgeries, no transplats etc etc).I have taken 5 week elisa(negative), 6 week rapid (negative). I get my 8 week elisa results back today and I am absolutely petrified. My fiance and I have been so not right health wise for several weeks now. In your experience how often have you seen a 6 week anitbody negative later turn positive?
Are these results conclusive for being negative for HIV or do I need to get another ELISA again on 90 days post? The odds I've figured for myself are about 1/20,000,000,000 which makes me feel pretty good (using 3% incidence which is probably very high in the first place). I've also read that the difference between 82 and 90 days is irrelevant. However, it's just one of those things where a very slight possibility still seems uncomfortable.
I'm sorry your wife has had such terrible problems and will keep a good thought for her that the cancer is gone is will stay away; l'm sure you have a good oncologist who will keep her on his/her radar.

All i can say is i wish you well, if its after 3months then put your feet up-relax and never do it again, abstinance is the best defense, ive had 3 elisa one pcr and next week i go for another elisa (week 6) i have all the symptoms of sero illness and am as scared to death.I feel ive just screwed up a very bright future that i had.

my question is , "HIV AG\AB test" after the three months it will be searching for the AB as well as it search for the AG if it found it,
so what is the method used to search for the AB in the (HIV AG\AB) test , 2- is is better than the method in Elisa AB test after 3 months , 3- if i did h="hiv AG\AB" test after three months " is it conclusive as if i did HIV Elisa AB test"

No matte what generation for test method , elisa generation 2 ? 3 or 4 ? Someone said 3 month is conclusive but some said 6 month & 12 month . Which is the correct timetable for conclusive test result ? Last test was 177 days by elisa negative but don't know what generation , was this result conclusive ?
I went to donate blood 1/20/2014 I got a letter stating I tested repeatedly reactive for the elisa hiv test. They did a IFA confirmatory test which came back negative and also took a sample of my donation and put it with a pool of other samples for a NAAT test which also my pool came back negative or non reactive. They told me that I was not living with hiv and can come back in 6 months to try again. Now 2 weeks after I got that letter I took an oraquick home swab test which came back negative.
A negative Western blot test means the ELISA test was a false positive test. The Western blot test can also be unclear, in which case more testing is done.
Negative tests do not rule out HIV infection. There is a period of time (called the "window period") between HIV infection and the appearance of anti-HIV antibodies that can be measured. This period is 3 months from exposure. However, negative WB at 45 days is certainly very encouraging.
My husband had positive elisa test with 3.45 value in august 2016 for hepatitis c. Then he got treatment aND it showed 0.85 value in January 2017. He got checked his hepatitis C by elisa test again two days back. It showed a value of 85.0. He's active n doing job. No cough or any other symptoms. He did it as just a routine checkup. Please guide if elisa test can be 85.0 ?? What should we do next? Much worried! !

About a week or so ago I needed to get a medical check for work. When I got my results back, I was shocked to be told that the Elisa test came back as HIV reactive at 1.52. They tested it twice. I really have no idea what that number stands for, though.
I don't have sex. No girlfriend. And I don't sleep with street workers. As far as I can remember, I have not come into contact with blood (except when killing mosquitoes).
