Hi, since the age of 18 I've started to get eczema. It started on the legs but it started appearing on my face (around my eye areas and especially around the brows) recently and topically. My doctor originally prescribed me "Hyderm 1% Hydrocortisone cream" in December 2009.
I started to take it and my eczema seemed to be under control. Starting in May the skin around my eyes (Where I primarily used the cream) started getting paler.
I have what I believe is eczema on my face and it's red and itchy and I really just want to get rid of the redness and its very embarrassing to go anywhere!!!! I haven't been to a doctor because it comes and goes sometimes I don't know why and I just need something to get rid of the redness I'm visiting my dad and I don't want to go anywhere because it's just a red blotch around my mouth and Lower cheek...
I've been having numerous sexual encounters, but with the same person. I was single about a month ago at which point I had explored with two other partners. However I don't believe my problem is STD's or at least hoping not. I'm certain the partner I'm with is clean. My scrotum and just below the head of the penis has become extremely dry and is loosing elasticity over the two patches it's effecting.

Yes I have this itchy scrotum. I'm on a medication that causes eczema. I can't stop taking the medication or else I won't have any place to live. The itching is in fact all over my body; but I learned that certain foods causes me to break out in hives in conjuction with the medication. The itching on my scrotum is forever constant. I've tried all kinds of anti-itch medication as well as 1% hydrocortizones. Nothing works on this itch. I mean no oils,lotions,body wash.

It seems like you are suffering from a fungal infection suggested by the itching sensation.Stop using a hydrocortisone cream, you will require antifungal medication for which you must consult a dermatologist and get it examined and receive a confirmed diagnosis.
I was diagnosed by a dermatologist with eczema / dermatitis of my penis glans. I've been treating with prescribed TCI (Protopic) for approx. 10 months, twice daily.
I was not making very good progress over this time. Upon visiting my doctor a week ago he suggested that I switch to a combination of Hydrocortisone 1% & Protopic. I would apply Hydrocortisone in the morning and Protopic in the evening. I did this for one week and made pretty decent progress.

ve always had eczema and have always treated it with creams and stuff but this one time i developed bad eczema on my cupids bow dimple area and so i used hydrocortisone and it went away and would always come back and it got to the point where i would put a lot of it on and now it is red and has a few lines through it and i can't get rid of it!
I am prone to eczema, but these patches don't itch, so I don't think it's eczema. Also, they aren't responding to the hydrocortisone creme, which usually works for eczema. I keep getting more of the patches.
