Avatar n tn I eat everything they tell you not to eat (real-food-wise, that is), and I stay away from processed foods. I do not eat any processed sugars, carbohydrates, sodas, or trans-fat. I load up on saturated fats (I go through 2 packets of butter in a week), and eat probably more than my fair share of protein. Not as much chicken, but real, red-meat foods (steak, lamb, etc) with the fat still on it. I eat at least 3 eggs a day, everyday (whole eggs, not this egg white only stuff).

For example:breakfast eat one serving of oatmeal, 2 hours later have a small piece of fruit or veggie,for lunch have a small salad with chicken and fruit, lite drsg, 2-3 hours later have another small piece of fruit or veggie, supper have what everybody else is having just make it small portion. Drink water in between each "snack" and if your hungry before bed try popcorn or small bowl of healthy cereal.
Avatar f tn Hi im 36 years old, weigh 62 kilos (136 pounds) and im 5 foot 2 inches, ive been using the Wii Fit plus for 3 weeks 1/2 hour of jogging and 1/2 doing step with weights for my arms every day, im eating healthy lots of fruit, smoothies and keeping to 1200 calories a day, i am an active person without excercise but have been keeping to my 1 hour a day and im not losing weight, infact my weight goes up and down by 2 pounds nearly everyday!
Avatar f tn i would definetly eat. Your baby needs the nourishment. even if your not hungry id eat fruit, nuts and good nutritous snacks that wont make you feel so bloated. Almonds are a good source of fat but a healthy fat and calories. I hope your taking a prenatal vitamin because eating once a day will not nourish that baby. your want to eat 3 times a day and two snacks mini meals throughout the day. speaking you are getting full id eat mini meals.

Avatar f tn ve been steadily losing weight over the past few days even though I eat at least 3 meals a day (3 normal portioned meals, or 5 small meals). When I first weighed myself when I found out I was pregnant, I was about 145. Then when I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago I was 140, now I'm 137. Anyone else going through weird things like this? Oh and keep in mind I'm constipated, so I feel like I should weigh more?
Avatar f tn Im 14 weeks tomorrow and I haven't gained any weight. I've been sick since 7 weeks and taking zofran. I also cant seem to eat healthy. I can eat salad but that's about it, everything else makes me sick. Just worried im not gaining enough weight.
Avatar n tn You'd actually be better off to eat regular, healthy meals, instead of doing all the constant snacking, which is probably what's keeping you from losing weight. By eating regular meals, you can better incorporate a mix of vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats into your diet. Snacking, typically, ends up being fruit, candy bars, crackers, sandwiches, chips and all the things that aren't so good for you and tend to make you, either, gain or hold onto weight.
Avatar f tn Its good you've set a goal and are looking to find out how to achieve it! However losing 15 pounds in a month is unrealistic and unhealthy. Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!

Avatar f tn Yep. :) I'm just shy of 20 weeks and I've actually lost 10 lbs. Doctor is very pleased, actually. He suggested I stay a steady weight (meaning I lose weight as I gain baby) but losing is even better since I'm overweight. Must be me taking the "eat healthy" thing to the extreme! Lol I never ate much to begin with, but my portion sizes for snacks have decimated.
