Is there a good diet plan for someone who had their gallbladder taking out? Also, I'm a picky eater..LOL! I think that's why I do so bad on diets.
Avatar f tn I would personally suggest first. Drink as much water as you can ( I drink 4-6 liters a day) that will help you with hunger. Also, try eating small meals/snacks every 2 hours.. for example. Yesterday I had 8am- banana with peanut butter, granola and raisins on top 11- Greek yogurt with fresh kiwi cut up in it 130pm- I had some almonds and dried fruit..with some cottage cheese 4pm- carrots and broccoli 6pm- a bowl of frosted mini wheats This is just an example what I eat/like food wise..

Avatar n tn I also hadn't lost my weight for my last pregnancy. I just try to eat healthy snacks. Keep lots of fruit and veggies on hand for when you feel hungry between meals. And try to stay away from sugar drinks. Keep a water bottle with you all the time and drink plenty of water. And stay as active as you can. I know that is hard with little ones but I try to take my son out places to walk around, or to play dates or swimming. Good luck!

Avatar n tn Eating a low carb diet is the best option. Eat lean protien sources like fish, chicken, beef. For essential fats eat salmon, olive oil, almonds. the only carbs should come from fruit and vegetables. Drink only water not juice.

Avatar f tn You should probably try to vary your diet so you don't get tired of it. Make sure you eat protein with every meal/snack because protein fills you up and keeps you fuller longer. Protein can be a meat, eggs, fish, nuts/nut butter, etc. Also, don't forget to eat some healthy fat every day. Fat helps you feel satisfied, so you aren't looking for food between meals.

Avatar f tn Ok so I don't think I'm eating super healthy either but I can only eat what this little will allow. Seriously though, it's a battle!!! I do crave more fruits but even though I crave them, I can take one bite, and instantly change my mind cuz the little doesn't agree with me. Lol!!! So I usually go for things I can shove in my face fast like corndogs and chicken strips, a smoothie, other junk.

Avatar f tn My husband as decided after baby he wants us both to eat healthier and exercise together. Only problem is he is an EXTREMELY picky eater. Only vegetables he will eat is canned green beans canned corn and corn on the cob. He wont touch anything else. He hates beans. Hates sweet potatoes. I am at a loss of what to do! He likes bananas and drinks 2% milk already so thats not an issue. I can also switch to whole grain easily and grill more and bake more instead of fry. Any other suggestions??

My eating habits are terrible, so I'm surprised that I have been able to maintain good health. My dad had diabetes and was slim just like me when he was younger. I thought about becoming a vegan, but my doctor recommended against it.

If I don't need to be induced (and I remain healthy, active, and hydrated) I'll be allowed to eat and drink during labor (even if I chose to go to the hospital), not have an iv, and not be stuck in bed with the stupid monitors. I'm really excited!
