I eat very healthy and avoid trans fats and saturated fats but I know that polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats found in avocados and other nutritious foods such as flax and salmon are essential. I make sure to incorporate these foods in my diet along with the right amount of protein.

Avatar n tn We eat gluten free in our household. I have eggs and spinach with cheese just about every morning. Meatloaf with lots of veggies stuffed in it is so good! I love pineapple and mangos. I pretty much eat the same as before, just occasionally eat whatever I'm craving. Salmon with rice or quinoa is also a favorite of course in moderation. A multivitamin and your prenatals also help with whatever your lacking and/or what the baby needs. I wouldn't stress too much about it, your so early.

Its important to try and fit in something healthy with ur meal when u can though, it reduces pregnancy issues and helps with your mental health. Prenatal pills should provide you with a lot of vitamins you need and all that but you should still try to eat something healthy when u can. Also, if you don't drink enough water it can put u into labor. Drink as much water as possible if anything!!

I'm told that once my thyroid is balanced, I will be able to lose weight semi-normally - I can only trust that information and do my best to keep from gaining any more and hoping I can actually shed a few pounds in the process.

I'm doing fine, except it's harder to find quick things to eat when you're starving, since I don't really eat processed foods. I don't think it matters your diet, as long as your getting the nutrients you need. Take your vitamins.
