Over this time I have taken azithromizing one dose, metronidizole one dose, nitrofuaretoin low dose for 5 days, oxytetracycline 7 days and have just been given ofloxacin 7 days and aciclover 5 days at same time to cover hsv a uti and prostatis.
Any comments on my treatment as I feel like the doctors could just be throwing antibiotics at me?
Would could it be? Yeast? Mycoplasma? Uti? Prostatis? Herpes?
Could I be having a first hsv outbreak about 10 years after I may have unknowingly caught it?
m a 22 year old male, I went to the hospital in Canada for treatment for a UTI, which I think was Chlamydia. The doctor gave me a 600mg dose of Doxycycline and a 7 day prescription of Ofloxacin, which seemed to work wonderfully and cured my symptoms.
Two weeks later, when I was back in China the infection came back.
On 3/21/07 she had stomach flu,5/24/07 she woke up with a bloody looking eye it's ALWAYS on the same eye (right)on the inner part of the sclera & it never spreads to the other eye,she always says it hurts & it swells up a little. Her pediatrician thought it was conjuvitis & rx Ofloxacin .3% it cleared up in 3 days.
Then I got a Urinary Tract Infection (Cystitis) in the 7th week of potential exposure (after 45 days). But with a dose of Satrogil-O (Satranidazole and Ofloxacin), the same got cured and the infection was clear in the urine test that followed. The CBC done was absolutely normal. I have little painless cracks on my tongue which the doctor says is due to Vitamin deficiency.
However, it is now 10 weeks of potential exposure. I have experienced no Flu, Fever etc.

I thought this would be a very safe option, in regards to STDs. Despite this I start to take antibiotics, just in case. About a week later my penis starts to burn, with a slight clear discharge and I have side and back pain. I get a urinalysis that says I have a slightly high bacteria count, which could account for a UTI. I also got a DNA Gon/Chlamydia test, which came back negative. I saw a urologist also, just in case. He puts me on Ofloxacin for a week.
I have read extensively on this site and government sites and wonder if 7 or 10 days doxycycline, 2 or 3 weeks erythromycin, cipro or a continuation of ofloxacin when my 7 days of this finishes this weekend are worth a try or a treatment not mentioned? If so, which first!? I also had a negative mycoplasma plus ureaplasma plus hsv urine sample from an online testing clinic that was ...should I rely on these results?
I got severe stomach pain on jan 24 and next day the scanning result is that i got 2 small calculi in right kidney and hydronephrosis of left kidney with uretric caliculas. i was prescribed kmac syrup(potassium citrate & magnesium citrate oral solution), brakke (ofloxacin and ornidazole) tablets , hifenac spas(aceclofenac and drotaverine hydrochloride tablets) taking which i suffered constipation severely then i guessed may be the side effects of above drugs. i took them day after day.
Yes ,the culture report shows there is no UTI,--I took Piricin600 for 5 days-then the burning sensation decreased--[-I think it was ofloxacin group of antibotic--;]--ofcourse I have taken Alkali mixture thnking it was UTI--now since 2 days I did not take it--day before yesterday I went fr urination 25 times!
yesterday was little better--but today is not good.
well i know i dont have a UTI because the lady at the clinic already checked to see if there was pain in my back kidneys but nothing. my urine isn't cloudy anymore. its hard to explain!!
have you ever seen a drop of milk in a glass of water? well that's what it looks like when i go pee, well towards the end of my pee in the droplets. not every time but sometimes and it varies in quantity. im thinking that's my discharge but it doesnt feel right either.
I had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago. About 4 days after, I started feeling a slight tingly in my penis and urinating more frequently. I went to the doctor who did urine tests and gonorrhea and chlamydia culture. All came back negative but they prescribed me Doxycycline anyway. About 4 days into the treatment, my symptoms began going away and by day 8 of the treatment, I felt like I was healed. However, the day after completing the Doxycycline, I began feeling pain in my penis again.
Long term steroid eye use like long term steroid use by pill form makes side effects almost inevitable. In the eye it includes cataracts, glaucoma and increased risk of fungus infections.

re describing, I wonder about the possibility of polyps in the uterine lining. I would also wonder about the possibitlity of endometritis (which is a chronic low grade infection/inflamation of the uterine lining).
If you were my patient, I would consider a saline ultrasound to rule out polyps, and depending upon how that looked, I would then consider either an endometrial biopsy or 14 day course of antibiotics.
