What advice do yall have about natural births? What do yu think about natural birth vs having an epidural ?

I planned on telling my boss at 12 weeks (now 16 wks 3 days). Then one day she was talking to me and my coworker about how she thinks people under 23 (I'm 21) shouldn't have kids bc we do it for selfish reasons or we are just stupid and don't use protection. After hearing that I double thought about telling her but I know my job needs to know....what should I say or do?

Hi all, still smiling about my positive test and looking forward to my scan next thurs but I'm having an issue with my boss. My boss, and his boss, and anyone at work that wants to know, knows I have MS. When I was being diagnosed I was going to a lot of Dr.'s appointments. I didn't want anyone to think I was goofing off, looking for another job etc. Everyone at work has been very supportive.

s hours are changing at his job, and he will have Monday and Tuesday off now. My boss has said that I might as well forget trying to get those 2 says off. So I scheduled a time to meet with my boss next week to tell her I am pregnant. I realized after that the day I am telling her, is on her birthday. Should I cancel the meeting to tell her? Or does it not matter that its her birthday?

So my daughter has been sick over the weekend with horrible white yellow diarrhea that smells horrid! I call the Dr and he said she needs to be checked. So I call my husband and his boss says if he leaves he could get fired! Like what the hell!!!! I work at a salon & I had my friend do some sweet highlights... nothing ON my scalp & I'm 20 weeks into 2nd semester. Anyway the boss is spazzing because my coworker did my hair & she said were not allowed to colour it. It's NOT all over on scalp colour, it's just highlights! WTF? There is no boss of my legs today. Last night my son and husband had to lift me into bed from the floor. This morning a neighbor and my husband had to lift me from bed. My neuro is on vacation but her associates will be in. I guess they will have to send steroids to me via a visiting nurse. We can't get me out of the house as concrete trucks are coming into to fill forms to make all my doors upstairs wheelchair accessible. The only way out if our garage doors on the lower level.

I kicked off my career in July 2013 after 8months of job searching after graduating from college. I've been at my job for 6months now and I'm 8wks pregnant. I know normally people would wait until they are out of their first trimester to inform there boss but my situation is a little unique. I would talk to your boss about the chemicals. You should be fine with the mrsa, cdiff etc as long as you wear gloves and wash your hands well with soap and water. Hand sanitizer won't kill cdiff. I know working in a hospital is a scary place when you are pregnant... we just need to be extra cautious with hand washing!

I just finished re-arranging my bedroom so that my side of the bed is closest to the door vs. having to walk around the bed to get out of the room and I have been shopping and cleaning and arranging all week. While I am greatful for the time off I am also a bit upset that my boss gave me 4 days off in a row...makes it hard to occupy myself. I work sat, sun and monday...have a meeting early tue. morning then I am done until sometime in early November.
