diet energy drinks bad

he is not on any treatment, but he is taking milk thistle. he is concerned about his intake of energy drinks. he drinks them pretty regularly, a couple times a week. they mostly contain caffeine, b vitamins, guarana, taurine and ginseng. are these beverages safe for him to be drinking??

The phenetermine will make you jittery, cause sleeplessness etc., especially during the 1st 2 weeks of use. I think the energy drinks are not so good, either, and the diet red bull just tastes awful. You shouldn't need it with the phen. If you are taking phen and a water pill, you will need to replace your electrolytes with potassium. If you do not get potassium or forget to take it, it can make you tired. Good luck. V.

Energy drinks are terrible for you during pregnancy. They contain a lot of caffeine, but even if its under the 200mg that your allowed in a day its mainly the other atudd you should worry about. Guarana (which is another form of caffeine) , Taurine, Ginseng, and L-carnatine are common ingredients found in energy drinks and are currently considered unsafe for consumption during pregnancy.

Before all this drama about caffeine, I don't think energy drinks even existed... Anyway, my issue isn't just with drinking them while pregnant. I don't think people should drink them period. As far as the caffeine having an effect on your unborn child, a lot of people prefer to live by the "better safe than sorry" motto. Same with alcohol. It's individual preference.

Energy drinks aren't good for anyone in general! But if you want energy try green tea! Or the occasional coffee!

it may just be that addingor increasing energy is not the factor wich needs attention.many people take energy drinks and cafinated beverages wich deplete vitamins in the body eventually wich can worsen situations rather than addressing the root cause . healthy diet plenty of fruit and vegetables and antioxidant foods berries. nuts for protien or healthy snack .by boosting immunity you may enable your body to control ebv better .

I gave up my daily six cups of coffee, I gave up smoking, I gave up energy drinks and all thing bad for pregnancy. I have been craving a Monster energy drink for weeks now but I kept telling myself no, but I had one this morning and I feel so guilty. I keep telling myself one isn't going to make a difference and long as I only had that one but I'm scared I'm going to miscarry now, and that might sound stupid but I can't get it out of my head.

Do you all drink those energy drinks like Red bull and all the others??? It seems that they have health concerns as they overload the system with caffeine. People are heading to the emergency rooms with symptoms related to these drinks. They used to sell diet pills over the counter that did this too but they didn't taste as good as these energy drinks!! I don't drink them as I'm good with some caffeine--- love it actually. But too much doesn't sit well with me.
