Avatar f tn pre pregnancy i was a workoutaholic. i worked out 5-7 days a week for 1-2 hours a day. i'd been like that since i was in high school. my swim coach made us workout and practice 6 days a week for 4-5 hours a day (needless to say i was in awesome shape then). but since having my twin boys i have zero energy. i know i need to work out. i WANT to work out but i just don't have the energy. i do watch what i eat. i don't eat nearly as much as i did when i was pregnant and i eat healthy.
Avatar f tn I'm 34 weeks and I nap all afternoon. I drop my son off at school and go straight back to bed and don't wake up till like 11:00am/11:30am. They say its much needed rest you need so nappp on mama.
Avatar m tn Protein drinks, gatorade, exercise - also really good for the energy issues - seems lack of energy and the insomnia linger on for a bit longer than the other withdrawal symptoms. But both will return eventually so keep the faith! And CONGRATS for the 20 days - FANTASTIC!!

Avatar n tn You get to choose the diet you want to follow, but whichever you choose just make sure it has all the nutrients you need, including antioxidants. An exception is if you're heavily into resistance training, in which case you will need additional protein. Good luck meeting your goals.

Fung on youtube, or google his name. -learn food combining rules -keep carbs under 20 carbs/day mainly from non starch veggies -get lots of sleep; be in bed by 10 pm= lower cortisol -don't stress yourself with fitness and workouts if you don't like it.

Avatar f tn I am just a few more weeks clean than you. Low energy is something I battle too! The energy comes back a little at a time, almost so slow an increase that it is difficult to see the improvement. I try for healthy diet, exercise when I can method. I try to push myself just a little bit harder every day. My sleep is still not the best. But besides the energy returning slowly, my thoughts are getting clearer. I am less moody and irritable.

4453126 tn?1354804362 Time is your friend. I am again on day 4 and past the worst of wd...energy spikes up and down, but using the Thomas Recipe on here does help. I take multi vitamins and b vitamins with b12. Melatonin and Nyquil help me sleep to rejuvinate. Force feed myself even when I don't feel that hungry and surprise myself by actually eating more than I thought I could. Plenty of fluids and exercise / moving around when you can helps too.

Avatar f tn How is your diet? is it lacking in nutrition, you might not have enough energy to exercise. No fast food and no sweets. Eating whole grains, fruits, vegetables and healthy protein will give you more energy. Exercise changes your body more than you realize. It reduces blood pressure, increases endurance and strength, and protects against some chronic diseases. Even without visible results, you are doing your body good. Just get the OK from your doctor first!
Avatar f tn My husband is 36 years old and has been eating healthy (a 2000 calorie diet a day low in fat and red meats, high in lean meats, fiber, and vegetables, and he takes a multi-vitamin) and gets a lot of exercise at work and at home. He took Hydroxycut for approximately six months but stopped taking it about a month and half ago. Since then he says he feels completely drained of energy. He wakes up tired and he goes to bed tired.
Avatar f tn Don't worry it's normal. Listen to your body if it says I'm tired then rest. If it says eat more, do that. If it says cry cry! I gained my energy back about the 19th week.
Avatar f tn re doing so well. And for no reason at all that pleases me to no end. For me it was at or around the 30 day mark that my energy started to come back. That whole first month it felt like my legs wouldn't or couldn't carry me around. I felt so weak and tired the whole time. Don't worry though, you are so close to getting past it now. By the first of February you'll probably feel twice as good as you do now.

I cant stand or walk around without wanting to vomit. I work up enough energy to cook but once I'm done I can't even take a bite. I have my first prenatal appointment August 10th. I don't know how far I am but I've gained ten lbs this month. I'm afraid ill start losing weight now.

Avatar m tn It seems to be in between 100 - 120 bpm. My heart rate seems to stay around 100 bpm most if not all of the day. And it tends to calm down a few hours before sleep. Anywhere in between 75 - 95 bpm. Right now my heart rate is around.. 105 bpm and it's been like this for a few hours. I was wondering if this is a normal part of anxiety.. even when you don't seem to feel anxious? My heart rate seems to keep a steady rhythm. I haven't been to the doctor yet..
