Avatar m tn I'm currently on Armour. My craving for sweets has dropped big time from when I was in my 20s. Now, I can walk around shopping for something like cookies but then pass over most of it because of too much sugar. Then I'll buy dried banana chips or Oreo cookies but the cookies will usually last a while and I find myself often removing the filling because of the sugar. Weird!

If I don't eat a lot and eat early, even protein, I Conk out quickly but wake up at 3 am for bread and crackers, and let's be honest, a few cookies. Not exhausted but interested in tips! Oat meal cream of wheat home made bread and since your nursing twins you can find a very low alcohol content beer and drink 5 ounces of it( don't go getting drunk lol) but the yeast helps your milk come in a lot! There is also a herbal tea called mother milk that I used with both of my boys helped a lot.

Avatar f tn Oat meal can be cooked in about 2 minutes, is very healthy and keeps you full until lunch... no better choice in my opinion.
Avatar n tn I drank three regular sodas, (generally I drink diet) and I also ate six large peanut butter cookies. I tried to keep drinking water but I also was trying to keep up my energy. When I got back to my brother's house I started having severe stomach cramps, and later that evening I started feeling like I was having a cold sweat. I had just taken a round of antibiotics for bronchitis which I still have.
Avatar f tn I would suggest looking up some recipes for lactation cookies and drinking lots and lots of water there is also something called mothers milk tea that might encourage your body to make more breast milk.

I also barely eat in the morning - a cup of yogart and a banana for breakfast, a small turkey sandwhich for lunch. Afternoon I feel I'm having a hypglycemic attack so I have some cookies and coffee or tea (I need the caffeine- I'm dying from fatigue!) Sometimes I feel like I'm having a hypoglymeic attack if I have supper late.

Avatar f tn for breakfast, I recommend plain bread or toast and a banana. The banana will help with the headaches as well, and cold cloths. And once your pregnancy nose sets in, have oranges on hand to sniff heavily if it makes you feel too sick. (My mom is passing aaaall the trade secrets!

Avatar m tn It is always good to be hydrated before cardio workout, Just keep it to one glass. If you want to maximize your cardio try 1 banana 45 minutes before. This doesn't affect the fat that you are going to burn and will give you the energy you'll need to perfom better. Also try to eat some carbs after, honey, oat etc. This will increase the amount of glycose stored in your liver and give you more endurance the next time you're going to train.

Avatar f tn houmous and oat cakes, Chicken breast and freshlime/chilli wrapped up in a lettuce leaf, handful of nuts, pickles, peanut butter inside a celery stalk, tomatoes and nuts, mozzarella and tomato, boiled eggs, homemade banana bread with seeds, natural yoghurt with a spoon of honey, banana smoothie with flax seeds, or even just a pick n mix of cheddar cheese, grapes etc x

Avatar n tn m sorry Ratnakar, it must have been a typo error, i mean i do not experience heartburn anymore only for the first few days, since 2 days ago, my meals are as follow, oat with soy milk for breakfast + one banana, Rice noodle with slice fish for lunch & dinner, supprisingly, the feeling has gone. but i'm afraid if i return to my normal diet, it'll trigger the feeling or symptoms again, i haven't try yet.
