I did and she says the only thing she can think of might be the fact that I was dig. with Diabetes after starting the Depo shot. I was on it for 9 years and went off it 2 years ago. My womanly cycles didn't start back up until 5 1/2 months ago when all the sickness started. She says they don't warn you that the shot can cause insulin resistance. So, did going off the shot reverse my insulin resistance?? Not sure but I am thinking so. Just thought I would share!!
Well today her nurse called me.. So my first reaction was omg! I have gestational diabetes, and she said no, your NEGATIVE for that, but your iron was low.. Thanking the man above always, so she told me to go pick up some iron pills and tame those with my prenatal pills..
Update: this morning I had pancakes for breakfast within a half hour my bs was 141, if someone can give me some advice I'd really appreciate it, I really have myself worked up and scared about the swing in readings
My husband has been diagnosed recently with diabetes & is on oral medication at this time. Is it common to be placed on high blood pressure medication at the same time even though blood pressure is normal??? I am presuming as a preventative?
I would appreciate any knowledge on this topic.
I was having mild contractions on my own 2-3 minutes apart. I am 38 weeks with gestational diabetes. Hope my baby is here soon.
I recently heard a research update by the head of JDRF's research department who said the same thing. All my notes from that update are at home, though. I'll see if I can find it tonight.
Update to my post of Dec 2018. Turns out Repatha has latex in the injector and I'm allergic to it. That probably caused the rash. Has anyone had this problem with Repatha or Praluent? I'd like to try Praluent.
