Yes you can take cymbalta with methadone, but I've heard that some ppl have a hard time getting off of cymbalta. I don't know anything about kidney problems with HepC other than they do exists sometimes. Maybe someone else will chime in for you. Just so you know, I really think I'm the only regular poster who takes methadone so we are in a special class.

There is a risk from duloxetine in general can cause kidney and liver trouble in some, drinking alcohol while on this drug increases this likely hood and if your a alcoholic then my advice is to have 6 month blood tests of your kidney and liver functions.

I have alot of pain in low back and hip areas all the time and some days it seems to radiate up to the kidney area. Have you talked to your dr about it? Maybe it is something besides the fibro. Do you drink enough water? I know that causes me alot of kidney pain if I don't. Just a few thoughts. Hope you can get it figured out. Hi recently I had pain on my adominal, usually the pain is on the right upper abdomen and the pain seem to move to lower left and right. I haven't did my kidney function test yet but I already did liver function test and my ALT is 9 U/L does this low ALT indicate that I have kidney issues?
