I was induced before,I received the pain medicine before i could feel the pain. When you go into labor on your own you have a chance of feeling the contractions without an epidural thats what im trying to dodge so I think im going to get induced.

It's different for everyone.... I had back labor with my first baby.... Before my contractions got strong it was like mild stomach cramps....

s better to be at the hospital than at home if u go into True labor. They will probably check u for contractions and dilation and they might send u on a walk to see if u progress.

You can infact have those true labor contractions for quite a while. I had them for 2 weeks straight before I suddenly went into labor with my youngest son. They hurt like hell and were true contractions but I wasn't dialating. It was at the end of those 2 weeks that I laid down after taking a shower and they picked up and got worse. I made it to the hospital 30 min later and was dialated to a 7, 30 min later I had my son in my arms.

How did you mamas feel right before labor? I've been having around two contractions an hour but my water is still intact, I am not dialated, and he hasn't dropped.I had my dialation checked two nights ago so that might've changed.

True labor pains are constant they dont go away. Contractions come back to back with literally like 30sec to a min before the next one comes they are very intense you can barely talk or walk thru them. You will know when it's time it hurts very bad especially with your first because you cant stay calm n its hard to relax you wont mistake it for nthn else they hurt n i heard back labor is very intense too which i din have much of but like i said the pain is excruciating so you will know.

I read that a baby can be active before labor, or the baby can slow down activity before labor. It just all depends on the baby. Have you called the doctor, or your local Labor and delivery ward at the hospital?
