Avatar f tn this might be a weird question but has anyone ever known of labor just being spontaneous or has anyone ever got really nauseous before their labor started like right before?
Avatar f tn Always remember too u do not have to lose your mucus plug or water break to be in active labor...my water never broke because my sac was really thick..doc always had to break my water..I did lose my mucus plug but labor never happened I just kept loosing more & more of the last couple weeks before I had her if I was you I would go get checked out it sounds like you are in active labor or u could be in the early stages of labor..better to go get checked out...
Avatar f tn I want to hear about your labor stories. What happened before you went into labor? Did your water break, bad contractions, bad back pain etc? How long did the symptoms last before you actually went into the hospital? Did you do anything crazy or different that day to bring on labor? Tell me your stories! I'm sure other FTM would love to hear them as well!

Avatar f tn Just wondering how long any of you ladies cramped before the actual labor contractions started.
Avatar f tn Any moms on here recall their experience before delivering? I'm feeling a lot of pressure, and am very tired almost. Its been 7 years. Had anyone felt really tired right before active labor? I'm going natural so trying to stay home as long as possible because some hospitals make you lay in bed. But i don't want to be like my friend and have him on the 1/2 mile journey there. Already having contractions but cycles are so bad i don't get uncomfortable until late.
Avatar f tn Some women have contractions for weeks before their due date. I had a friend that had contractions on and off for the entire last month and still had to be induced a day after her due date because nothing was progressing.
Avatar f tn I'm 37 weeks and I think I'm getting a cold, it's to near my due date and I'm freaking out! I don't wanna be sick during labor or to meet my little man. Any advice how to get better before it gets worse?
Avatar f tn Im 36 wks and i can feel a sore throat coming on and i do have a slight head cold and have had period pain cramps on and off ( which at the moment are bearable) and fake contractions the last few days. Im scheduled for c-section at 39 wks due to high risk pregnancy but everyone is saying theres not a chance ill make it to 39 wks. Im ready to pop. I wonder where u heard this and if theres any truth in it? It could be just that we are getting sick and thats that.
4842016 tn?1372039067 I had diarrhea for a couple weeks up until I went into labour, including the day labour started. When I first got it, I got all excited because I thought labour was coming soon because I had heard it was a sign.
8377023 tn?1399509160 Pets have great intuition. I often think they know more than we give them credit for. My 2 year old dog rests his ear on my belly all the time and both of my cats nuzzle it whenever I sit on the couch.
10817881 tn?1422287520 I've heard it's common to throw up and/or have diarrhea before you go into labor because it's your body's way of clearing itself out before delivery! I don't know this from personal experience, have just heard it's quite common!
Avatar f tn Typically your labor starts before your water breaks.. Less then 10% of women's water breaks on it's own before labor. I'm on child number 3 and never has my water broke b4 labor began.
Avatar f tn Has anyone experienced sudden mood changes like right before going into labor or a few days before going into labor ? I have had pretty balanced hormones through out my pregnancy... not really any crazy like.. o I'm so happy then next minute going all hulk smash you know ? But today.. I am incredibly irritated and everything is getting on my nerves. The smallest little things are pissing me off and I have not had this in my entire pregnancy. I'm 38+5 weeks. And also ...
Avatar f tn Hm have you tried to google signs of labor? I know my contractions were not painful at all.

Avatar f tn Try castor oil, I did last Thursday and it didn't work for me but I've heard its worked for a lot of woman and at the very least it will help move things along. Click on my profile and go to my posts and click on the ones that have to do with cats or oil & read what everyone says. I hope this helps!! Good luck!!
10743983 tn?1440210210 I was still constipated before labor. The nurse told me I was so backed up I needed to try to use the bathroom while I was in full blown labor!!
Avatar f tn Early in the morning I will be getting my membranes stripped, and I'm curious to hear stories about how it went for those who have had it done before. I'm hoping to hear how it went, especially if you were already dilated/contracting before the sweep, I've mostly only heard stories of no success but they didn't have any dilation, and hadn't even felt a contraction. So I'm hopeful! 1) How many weeks were you? 2) How dilated/effaced were you?
