Can anybody tell me if this is a large tumor and your expierince with the gamma knife?

t relieve the pain It feels like the pain is around the one of the incision sites that has healed but feels somewhat thick. What could be causing this?

I have had cold symptoms for weeks. I finally broke down and went to med express where they pretty much treated me like a criminal for wanting to feel better. I has tried all the home remedies but nothing worked. They ended up giving me an antibiotic at med express. I felt better for a few days but now I feel worse then I did before. I feel like someone is scrapping my throat with a knife everytime I cough which is like every five minutes.

I dont know if its just me but does anyone else here ever feel nervous when pregnant? Like you're suddenly having cold feet that you wont make it alive in childbirth? I hope I can deliver my baby safe and healthy but sometimes i got the feeling that Im the one who wont make it..
For as long as I can remember I have had sensitive nasal passages. When I would get a cold / flu, whenever I would breathe through my nose I felt like the air was icy cold and would hit the back of my throat/nasal cavity like a sharp cold knife. I'm currently sick and find it very uncomfortable to breathe through my nose because of this same sensation . I don't know how else to explain it, but it makes the back of my nasal cavity extremely irritated , dry and nothing I do brings relief .
ve been feeling the sharp pains near my incision ever since (4 days now). I can see there is a small bruise around the pelvin incision area, but I feel that most of the pain is coming from the bikini incision area, which is harder to see, because there's a larger band-aid over the incision.
I have barely left my bed, and trying to do anything I can to minimize movement...I think I am going to call my doctor Tuesday, after the holiday, and ask about the pains.
Somtimes these can be done through the nose (transpenoidally) and then follwed up with gamma knife or other radiation. Success is going to be due to the skills of the surgeon and to the state of your father's tumor and where it is.

If it is not in that area then the surgery would be done via a craniotomy.
now my leg is so numb with pain you could stick a knife in it and i wouldnt know. is this normal? also i havent had a bowel movement since surgery. ive been taking the same pills as before surgery just more of them now is that why im stopped up? can i take anything for that?

Hi everyone. I was wondering how long your incision was. I was just told by surgeon's office that my incision would be about 5 inches long and I'm kind of freaked about it. 5 inches is more than half my skull. Also was told that they would have to shave about 2 inche wide strip. Anyone else had this?
For the beginning of the whole ordeal my incision seemed to be healing nicely. About 3 weeks into it, it started looking odd and going between colors of green and yellow, so we went to my orthopedic doctor. He kept throwing me on different antibiotics, telling me to just wash it with soap and then leave it dry/unwrapped throughout the day, stating I could possibly wrap it at night when I went to sleep with Neosporin.
I have had a cold for about 2 and a half weeks now and my sore throat seems to be getting worse Everytime I swallow it feels like someone's scraping the back of my throat with a knife. But when I looked there's no difference in my throat the only difference is I have a lot of red lumps at the very back of my tongue could these be causing the pain and what could they be?
I had a tummy tuck 3 wks ago, and although my incision and navel are dry and well heal, i have a sharp pain in the left side of my incision. It is not a constant pain, but happens when i walk and its very uncomfortable. my apt is dam, cold and humid. my mother says this could be the reason. anything to worry about ? my doctor said to take motrin 600mg.
I had my surgery April 13th of this year with a follow up surgery May 6th due to the incision not closing. About 3 weeks or so ago I began having stabbing pains in the back of my head like someone was stabbing me with a knife as well as someone cutting me across my skull. These symptoms came and went at random times.
I have also developed a minor cold and cough. My first incision site is fine. Closed, and healed with bruising. My pelvic incision site is extremely bruised. It is closed, and very tender. It is really red (but closed it seems), and the surrounding area is extremely red. I know it is not part of the bruise as the bruise is dark purple/yellow. It is also very hard and hot to the touch. I have never felt so tired and slept so much in my life. It is also pretty painful.
Is this normal?
