In your case, if you had bouts of acne before, and the bumps do not appear to involve follicles and also do not appear to blister and crust, then this is most likely acne.
For localized bumps such as what you have, the mainstay is sticking to a proper facial cleansing regimen. Use a mild and bland product that is hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic. Use a mild toner to tighten the pores and do not exfoliate at this point.
t seem to have problems with doxycycline, amoxicillin or clindamycin. Clindamycin destroys my stomach though. I avoid cipro and zithromax.

Alternatively, you can take clindamycin for the bv and drink a boat load of cranberry juice for the UTI and water of course. It will take longer to clear up the UTI but it should work. It did for me in a pinch. It just took a couple of extra days. Of course if you are diabetic you can't.
Be sure that you apply sunscreen of at least SPF 30 when staying outdoors when using tretinoin. Do not pick on the red spots and try to observe if these spots appear to worsen with tretinoin use. If itching and scaling over the areas occur , then you may need to have this assessed by your physician prescriber.
has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects.
HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.
For the last few months I have been on a daily Desonide .05% cream (morning) and Tretinoin .025% (night). Which has also had no effect, other then making my skin softer, with the bumps still ever present. He believes that it is all related to my Keratosis Pilaris, including the weird outbreaks on the back of my neck (which he has me treating with moderate success, with Clindamycin). Any ideas on what I have and more importantly how to get rid of it?

Other differentials will be skin tags. Flat warts may be treated with cryotherapy or tretinoin. You may discuss this with your dermatologist. Flat warts usually occur on the face and they may readily spread through shaving or frequent skin to skin contact.
I suggest that you try to minimize shaving. However, doing so may not readily stop them from spreading. Treatment with the therapies mentioned above may be the best way to prevent their spread.

Hi I Was Recently Sick and Had To Begin taking an antibiotic called Clindamycin. Will I Be Okay To Drink Alcohol While On This Medication. I Have Read That This Antibiotic Doesn't Have Any Negative Affects While Drinking Alcohol. But Just Wanted To Double Check.

The redness on top of penis tip changes from bright red when erect to mildy red when relaxed. There is a bright red spot that is about 1mm in size that the redness on tip seems to emanate from. ve never had a tooth extraction while having abscessing going on, and she said it was fine. Tooth was pulled and was sent home with an Rx of Clindamycin (150mg), 4xday. Infection got worse. Dentist, then used a lazer to open and drain the infected area. Several shots (7-8) of novacaine was needed to numb the area. After procedure, my mouth hurt and burned the worst that I've ever experienced before. The infection is still there.
Thank you so much for your response. May I also ask what length of time would I take the Biaxin? And is there any home treatment, Like garlic pills etc. that would help augment healing? ( since Biaxin is not considered the best treatment.) Although I'm stuck with that. And frankly, I was on the Clindamycin for weeks and that didn't get rid of the infection, so maybe a broad spectrum antibiotic will work for me. I sure hope so. thank you again for your advice.
