In Copeland’s case, the necrotizing fasciitis was caused by bacteria known as Aeromonas hydrophila, which is found in warm rivers and streams. Many people exposed to the bacteria don’t get sick. Only a handful of necrotizing fasciitis infections caused by the bacteria have been reported in medical journals in recent decades.

t seem to have problems with doxycycline, amoxicillin or clindamycin. Clindamycin destroys my stomach though. I avoid cipro and zithromax.
Muscle biopsy shows myopathy that occurs with anabolic steroid abuse, Also have MRI and tests for pituitary tumour nad and bloods for ? hypopituitary. Results show low testosterone consistant with anabolic steroid abuse. I have never used anabolic steroids at anytime. Could something internally be wrong. I have episodes of feeling unwell with sweats, hypoiglycaemic symptoms and low blood pressure.

Alternatively, you can take clindamycin for the bv and drink a boat load of cranberry juice for the UTI and water of course. It will take longer to clear up the UTI but it should work. It did for me in a pinch. It just took a couple of extra days. Of course if you are diabetic you can't.

has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects.
HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.
Hi I Was Recently Sick and Had To Begin taking an antibiotic called Clindamycin. Will I Be Okay To Drink Alcohol While On This Medication. I Have Read That This Antibiotic Doesn't Have Any Negative Affects While Drinking Alcohol. But Just Wanted To Double Check.

I've had plantar fasciitis for close to a year and recently, my lower back and knees have begun hurting. I went from 230 to 258 in less than a year, partially due to my fasciitis and subsequent lack of running and exercise. Could my knee pain be coming from PF or weight gain? Or a combination thereof? My lower back pain, could that also be caused by the two? I'm 5'8 and otherwise healthy 25 yr old.
About a month and a half ago, I got up in the morning with a sharp pain in my right heel. Somedays it is tolerable and other days I am unable to stand and walk. I am 54 and in good health. I had a bone density test done several months ago and no signs of arthritis or osteoporous. Have had no injuries to the foot. What could be causing this pain?
It is now 5 days taking benadryl and the hives and itching have not stopped. What is in the clindamycin that I may be allergic to?
