Narcotic cough medicine or the DM type? I was hooked on narcotic cough medicine for years and got my addiction stated on it before there were even hydro pills. I had to drink some rough stuff like turpenhydrate and codeine and some other nasty stuff before I found the cleaner stuff but am not going to get into all that. There can be some problems from the other ingredients in cough medicine.

Call a doctor or pharmacist to check but most doctors OK Robitussin DM, just the single ingredient kind not the one with several ingredients.

hello my two years old son has an anemia and now is taking ferrous sulfide 3 bottles he took the first bottle already so befor e the 2 blood test due date he had an allergy asme coughing so his taking liquid ventolin albuterol,and ceron for cough and prednisolone orapred, its ben already 4 days and now i can see under his eyes bruises like sometimes reddish sometimes blue and dark specially at nights.

Between December 2002 and October 2005, 189 non-diabetic patients were treated with Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba, of whom five developed type 1 DM (2.6%), three type 2 DM (1.6%) and one an indeterminate type of DM. Classical symptoms of DM were present in three patients who developed DM shortly after cessation of Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba. In the other patients, symptoms of DM were either indistinguishable from side effects caused by Peg-IFN-alpha/Riba or absent.

I had an adverse reaction to Mucinex DM. In May I had an upper resporitory infection and my doctor prescribed antibiotics and told me to take a decongestant. What Robitussin do you take? I took the one that said Md or Dm on it. I still have a cough tho and I've already finished the medicine. I also take cough drops.
