celexa itching

ve been taking and I see the itching is a side affect of the drug, but everyone that has this condition has experienced the itching after they were on the Wellbutrin for awhile. Will my itching stop. I feel great except for the itching.

Serotonin controls many things and and a low level causes depression and all the symptoms i have. i took one pill of celexa and an hour later my itching and burning sensations were relieved. However i got diahreaah immediately and started throwing up violently. i also got blurred vision and dizziness and i felt like i was going to faint. I ended up going to the emergency room. They said it was a bad reaction to the medicine.

I currently take 40mg of celexa at night and am taking 37.5 mg of phentemerine. I have not noticed any side effects but what are they I am curious if ever i noticed something different about myself. I cant find anything on the internet to find an answer to this question.

I HAVE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT I WAS DEPRESSED UNTIL NOW. THE CYCLE IS FOR ONLY 1 MONTH AND CALLED CELEXA. I HAVE NO HISTORY OF ANXIETY ATTACKS OR DEPRESSION. IS THIS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT OR WILL I HAVE TO TAKE ANTI-DEPRESSANTS FOREVER?

Many people would rather fight the sides without an a/d, but since I was taking this before tx, I continued. I was on celexa then Lexapro and went back to celexa. I heard that Lexapro was a combo of celexa and prozac hence the name Lexapro. This is not to be interpreted as medical advice:) just my little input. How many weeks left?

I thought it might be working but I started itching real bad and feeling hot and I actually felt worse. Is this normal? Should I stop cold turkey?

Im 20 year old male. NO RASH. No inflammation. Just itching all over. More like pins and needles. Have had all blood work done and all normal. The itching comes with burning sensations as well. I have been to the doctor several times. Eventually they said it was from anxiety and/or depression. I had a bad reaction after one pill of anti-depressant celexa and was given xanax to take instead to help. Xanax doesnt do much except calms the nerves but it doesnt go away.

I'm allergic to codeine. I'd been taking vicodin, then norco. now i'm having itching and anxiety when i take it. Any suggestions? I'm seeing my Dr. Monday..this is Friday. Thx!! I have been taking Celexa and adderall together for about a year now and things have been working great. My only problem has been the sexual side-effects which have made my sex drive almost nothing. Because I entered into a serious relationship within these past couple months my doctor and I started discussing potential drugs that would increase my libido. She suggested Buspar. However, I have only been taking Buspar for two days and feel like it is having a counteractive affect on my adderall.

Lexapro is a metabolite of Celexa... it's ''the new Celexa''. Supposed to have less side-effects for that matter. Just think of the tricyclic nortriptyline being the major active metabolite of amiltrityline which makes nortriptyline a second generation tricyclic.

Hi Again. I was wondering if anyone on this board is on Celexa { Citalopram}. And could they tell me how it feels? I mean do you feel better? As I am supposed to start soon on this medication. Right now I am on Anafranil and klonopin. Dr has decided to try this medication to see if it will make me better because right now I am not. And also how long before I can take Celexa because I am still on Anafranil. I take 50mgs once a day in the night time.

I was wondering for any of you that have ever taken celexa....Can you actually feel celexa or is it just like zoloft where you dont notice it at all. Also what are some side effects you experianced?

I have been on Celexa 20mg for about 6 weeks. My doc has upped it to 30mg...what side effects should I expect?

I have been taking 20 milligrams of generic Celexa for about 4 months to treat anxiety and depression. I was apprehensive to try Celexa because I had heard so many bad things about it. However, within a short time after taking it I noticed a huge improvement in both my depression and anxiety. I am very happy with the Celexa. One problem I am having though is that I have changed as a person and I suspect it is from the Celexa.

I have been on Celexa for about 5 years and went off it a month ago. Started not to feel right and resumed the dosage I had been on at 60mg. I became a nervous wreck (sweats, panic etc) and then i realized I probably should have started back at a lower dose. Would starting at 60mg after not using it for a month cause me to have these very nervous feelings?

Good morning I have been a long sufferer of anxiety that comes and goes. I am currently in a "goes" cycle and suffering constant panic attacks and I have myself convinced that there is something wrong with my heart despite having a normal ECHO in January, a normal treadmill stress test 2 weeks ago, a normal 24 hours holter 2 months ago and normal blood pressure and cholesterol. hi my doctor is putting my wife on celexa for her anxiety and panic attacks, i was wondering does anyone take it and how it makes you feel, she has been taking buspar for 3 days and i think it made her worse and help would be greatly aprreciated

for something to help me deal with anxiety/anger sides that I have been dealing with for almost 2 months. She prescribed Celexa and I started it on Thursday night and have been really nauseous along with a fuzzy almost headache ever since. OK my 1st question, sorry! I started Celexa 3 months ago, I have been on 5mg celexa (most Doctors would say not even therapeutic) well it has been for me, now I am considering moving up to 10mgs. Anyone on celexa have any pros or cons ?

Has anyone had experience with Celexa. My doctor wants to put me on it and I'd like some information before doing so. I take xanax at present but I've been using it too long and it no longer works. Apparently my doctor feels that my sleep might benefit from using Celexa.
