Quix, if you remember, I was the one with the stomach ordeal in 2006 - appendectomy and no appendix found - then I went through the depression in 2007 and the Neurologist came up with a diagnosis of Myositis. Well as of this year in Feb 08, he refused to carry out the muscle biopsy and wanted me to see another Neurologist, which is the impossible - as all moneys have now depleted. I seeked help again from my GP who referred me to an Orthopaedic specialist.
I had a mammogram in 2007. My next one was 10/10/13.(Bad, I know) The results from this years was "normal". A few days ago, the office called me back stating they had just received the results from '07 (different Dr) and would like to do another mammogram. My question is, why would my latest results ("normal") supercede any other one??? I'm confused!

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.
She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.
I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.
Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). In October 2006, I suffered a golf injury, diagnosed as medial epicondylitis. Over the next eight months, I had physical therapy, and three cortisone injections. An EMG showed no nerve involvement. I haven't played golf since 2006, and have been seeing an acupuncturist since August 2007 for the pain. Nothing has worked. I am still in pain, and am afraid to stay on Celebrex. What do you suggest?
I do have some experience with this problem. Mild heart attack in 2007 (most probably caused by spasm, arteries were in pristine condition), followed by insertion of 6 cypher stents to support the one artery: 1 x 18mm, 1 x 23mm, 2 x 30mm and 2 x 33mm. Three and a half years later in 2010, naturally I was no longer taking dual anti-platelet therapy that long post-stenting - just the 81mg aspirin. But, had a very severe stent thrombosis and a serious MI. I'm very lucky to be here today.
No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though.
You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.
I never had high blood sugar but recently after a 10 day course of celebrex for an inflamed shoulder muscle my fasting blood sugar shot up to 137. I read that celebrex has this side effect. Is it reversible?
However i have both received and performed unprotected oral sex on 3 males of unknown status from march 2007 to April 2007. i also tried anal intercourse with a male but he could not penetrate and used a condom. My last sexual experience was in march of 2008. I have had regular physical's and never had any issues in any of the blood work or have gotten really sick over the last 3 years. I am just wondering if i should get tested for hiv considering my past sexual experiences.
Trying a new drug for pain... Celebrex. I was on Diamox but could not tolerate it as it caused severe kidney PAIN. So, my PCP wants me to try Celebrex (3 days on, 3 days off). Anyone have any experience/knowledge of this med and, if so, how did you fare with it?
Forgot to mention - you said you'd been taking celebrex prior to your last blood test... I don't know if celebrex would raise your levels that much, but you can check drugs.com for interactions.

hi i have arthritis and i have had 4 joints totally replaced and i am only 35 with no kids. i am having so severe side effects from my med mainy celebrex i have had an heart test and was seen as early polarization , diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal reflux and have skin rash and legions . i am thinking of a claim against them . but in the main time i dont want my doctors to feel bad as they have been with me since my early twenties.
Before diving into another invasive procedure, I visited a pain management doctor. ONE of the many things we did was try Celebrex. Now I was very skeptical as it had done nothing prior to surgery. But once my spondy was fixed I though - let's try it again.
I have to happily report that this NSAID really did work. So much so I was able to lay off the Vicodin and/or Norco as a supplement to "stay ahead of the pain".
how were you originally tested for syphilis? do you recall? was it just a visual diagnosis or did you have testing of the open sores or blood testing?
I can best help you with your herpes blood test results if you get the results to post here - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.9 and hsv2 igg 4.3 or whatever they are. do you know if herpes testing was a part of the testing you had when you were diagnosed as having syphilis?
