Celebrex recall information

Common Questions and Answers about Celebrex recall information

celebrex

Avatar f tn Just thinking about after answering my last post about nurses that are continually providing inaccurate information. My pmp nurse Erin told me three times that the prescription that my pmp dr. had written was for 22 days, when I knew it was for 30 days. It's just another one of those mis information that is being continually provided in that office.
Avatar m tn I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.
Avatar n tn Random joint pain, including in the jaw, can be caused by Lyme Disease. Have you seen a doctor yet? Only about half of patients recall a tick or a rash.
Avatar f tn I would like suggesting having a recall sticky thread in the pregnancy and maternal & child forums. One of the forum regulars in Pregnancy 18-35 posted a recall about a crib, I would have never heard about the recall if it wasn't for her. Not every parent has a source of information to get recalled items, and I think it would help a lot of new parents or parents in general if we could have a sticky thread for rcalled infant and children products.
548642 tn?1266179652 my gi didnt even know the dose to celebrex so i doubt he knows if its good to my liver! im telling yall hes stupid and i need to find a new dr asap!
Avatar m tn Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.
Avatar n tn She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.
Avatar f tn I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.
Avatar f tn I responded to you a few days ago under the poll thread where you asked the question but I guess you didnt see my response! You can buy Better 'N Peanut Butter at any kind of health food store (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Safeway, Fairway etc) I already visited their website and they have a message on the main page up saying their products arent affected by the recall and I'm pretty sure the recall is contained to snack products rather than actual jars of peanut butter.
1916673 tn?1420233270 On April 22, 2015, the FDA announced that Nylabone Products of Neptune, New Jersey, is recalling one lot of its Puppy Starter Kit dog chews due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria. Avatar f tn Hi guys its been a while but unfortunately I' m back. I noticed a bump on the underside of my ball sack, it is raised skin colored with bump with a dark red top to it. Its painful, and I dunno if its a syphilis chancre or not. I had protected oral sex back on June 9th and I don't recall her licking or putting her mouth there, so I would like to know. I poked at it once and squeezed, and a clear liquid mixed with some blood came out of a small hole at its base.
Avatar f tn For those on Heparin: my RE's office told me there has been a recall on Heparin manufactured by Baxter. Here's some more information: http://www.baxter.com/about_baxter/news_room/news_releases/2008/02-28-08-heparin.html check with your Dr.

Avatar f tn Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. I am having my first liver biopsy in the morning, so I will find out more about my liver. I am scared to death about it coz I have had so many problems lately.
Avatar dr m tn Before diving into another invasive procedure, I visited a pain management doctor. ONE of the many things we did was try Celebrex. Now I was very skeptical as it had done nothing prior to surgery. But once my spondy was fixed I though - let's try it again. I have to happily report that this NSAID really did work. So much so I was able to lay off the Vicodin and/or Norco as a supplement to "stay ahead of the pain".
Avatar f tn No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though. You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.
Avatar n tn I never had high blood sugar but recently after a 10 day course of celebrex for an inflamed shoulder muscle my fasting blood sugar shot up to 137. I read that celebrex has this side effect. Is it reversible?
Avatar m tn I injured my shoulder several months ago and have tried cortazone injections and physical therapy. I have been taking celebrex and ice , moist heat but the pain has not stopped.
Avatar f tn Trying a new drug for pain... Celebrex. I was on Diamox but could not tolerate it as it caused severe kidney PAIN. So, my PCP wants me to try Celebrex (3 days on, 3 days off). Anyone have any experience/knowledge of this med and, if so, how did you fare with it?
1207048 tn?1282174304 I started on Celebrex on Sunday. I take it every afternoon at the same time. I have not noticed any difference. I had read that it should only take "a few days" for it to start working. I'm not sure how long I should give it? Admittedly, I was not happy to be starting it in the first place, so my gut reaction is to only give it a week, and stop it if it doesn't seem to be working. The thing that seems to be working the most is my nighttime dose of gabapentin.
Avatar f tn hi i have arthritis and i have had 4 joints totally replaced and i am only 35 with no kids. i am having so severe side effects from my med mainy celebrex i have had an heart test and was seen as early polarization , diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal reflux and have skin rash and legions . i am thinking of a claim against them . but in the main time i dont want my doctors to feel bad as they have been with me since my early twenties.
