Is either proteus mirabilis or proteus vulgaris resistant to macrobid? I have a UTI that is resistant to macrobid and my doctor mentioned one of the above as the cause--I believe. I had to switch to another antibiotic. Just curious?

Acne vulgaris (commonly called acne) is a skin disease caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland).
A blackhead (medically known as an open comedo, is a yellowish or blackish bump or plug on the skin. A blackhead is a type of acne vulgaris. It is caused by excess oils that have accumulated in the sebaceous gland's duct.
But persistent oral ulcers could be due to systemic causes like pemphigus vulgaris, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and malignancy. Pemphigus vulgaris can cause non healing oral ulcers with systemic lesions. They could also be due to certain autoimmune disorders or medications. A biopsy may help. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.

Differin topical containing adapalene, is used for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris. A thin film of the gel should be applied, avoiding eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. It should help you and you should use it as prescribed. Also avoid using any lotions and creams over the face for the meantime. Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry.

I found a wart that was on my upper thigh, had it removed, tested and came back a regular common wart (Verruca Vulgaris)! The virus likes warm moist places.
m taking Valtrex 1 gm per day and also have started taking a pill from Herpaflor that contains Lysine, Purella Vulgaris, licorice root and vitamins A,C and zinc. I'm doing a lot of research on the internet trying to learn what other herbs I can use to help prevent an outbreak.
Is there something topical I can put on my upper lip and other areas that will prevent an outbreak from recurring there? And if I do, do I risk a new outbreak somewhere else in my body?
