I have never had a sugar level problem, than my primary care doc put me on trilipix. I took it for six months ... went in for my routine blood work and he says my sugar was up and I was now had pre diabetes with my a1c test being 6.1 The only change I have made Is the Trilipix...I don't think it is a coincedence! I quit taking it...not just because of that but I was also having terrible muscle spasms....I don't think enough research has been done on this med.....
My reg family doc wanted me to go to see the gastro doctor to have an endo done back like 3 or 4 months ago when he had to switch me from protonix (which is my 2nd or 3rd med to try for acid reflux) to Nexium , the strongest dose 40 mgs I think. Well at the time I didn't have time to go see the gastro doc. But I had to go see a ENT because of an ear infection and he said my throat looked really irriated and I had better get my acid reflux checked out.
The rest of the aota is normal size. The doctor has scheduled a stress test for me. Is this recommended? I have read that exercise is recommended but heavy lifting is prohibited because of the stress it places on the aorta. My work includes heavy lifting periodically throughout the day of 60-80 lbs. Is this considered heavy lifting? I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.
After a day of this pain getting progressively worse I went to the hospital, they monitored me for an hour and then told me that I was far enough along they would admit me. They gave me my epidural right thenn and there and told me to get some sleep because in 5 hours I would start pushing. I then tried to sleep but didn't, and didn't feel any pain just a little uncomfortable.
At my lipid clinic visit today, my AST was 141 and ALT 249. My md had me go for some additional liver tests today and I stopped my lipitor and trilipix for now.
I was dx with Celiac disease in2004, Metabolic syndrom in 2009.
Should I be worried about these levels being so high?
Nexium 40mg. twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!
My period comes every 24 days for the last 14 years of my life. I got a period 10/21, 11/17 then had sex on 11/27, 11/28, 12/2, 12/3, 12/7 and 12/8...I took a Next Day pill on 11/30 and I had a 4 day period on 12/11. Negative pregnancy tests on 12/2 (First Response EPT), 12/7 (Dollar Store Brand---with the pee dropper), 12/10 (Dollar Store Brand with the pee dropper), and 12/27 (Target Brand)
On 12/21-12/26 I had sex. Got a positive pregnancy test on 12/31 (First Response EPT).
When I read your post I noticed that you mentioned that you have left sided pain. I was diagnosed with crohn's about 14 years ago after going through two primary physicians and finally third one referred me to his wife...a gastro physician. After years of suffering she told me that many people who's pain presents on the left side are often misdiagnosed or treated as if they are constipated or have irritable bowel syndrome. She ordered a ton of lab work and did a colonoscopy.
