can i take prometrium in the morning

I took 100mg for one cycle (BFN) and the dr upped it to 200mg - on the third cycle - I got pregnant. I took it before I went to bed b/c of the side effects until I was in my 13th week. I'm now 30 weeks - I'd say, 'what could it hurt'?! I had two miscarriages and they ran a bunch of tests and found I have a blood clotting issue. So when we started TTC again I was told to take baby aspirin and prometrium.

I was in prometrium 200mg once a day with my 3rd pregnancy..and still i m/c at 17&1/2 weeks.. and i stopped taking the prometrium at my 15&1/2weeks( i should only take them for 12 weeks, but my dr told me to continued the left pills..) still don't know the reason why,, if it's bec. i stopped taking the progesterone supplement or there is some thing else..

My dr has written scrips but i dont have the money for them right now and when i call them for other options they say there is nothing they can do and if i cant keep anything down i just need to go to the ER. If i cant afford a scrip how the heck can i afford an ER visit??? I still have 3 weeks left on this pill. Will all this stop once I quit taking it?

I'm taking it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. 200mg. I take it with food so it won't make nauseated. My doctor put me on it to stop my bleeding and since I've been on it I've had none. I only have to take it for 2 more weeks I think. 5 weeks total. My doctor said it was completely safe. And it stopped my problem. So I'm not worried.

I am 2 dpiui and have been instructed to decrease estrace to 2mg tablet once daily and to add prometrium once daily. My question is, can I insert them at the same time or should I be doing the estrace in the morning and prometrium at night? I called and left a message with my RE but I haven't heard back! On a side note, for those of you who have used baby aspririn, do you know when you should stop using it?

Trytrygain84:Thanks for the information I think I will stay on it as well. I was taking 1x100mg morning and night for 14 days past ovulation just for precaution because they never did any test that said my progesterone was low. What is your dosage and schedule? I would love to take 2x100mg at night since it kinda messy for the morning.:) Guess I could ask the nurse what she thinks but its hard to get answer from her ususally its "up to you".

HI everyone I am 3 weeks pregnant and my doctor said my progesterone levels are low and prescribed Prometrium for me to take vaginally until I am 10 weeks pregnant, I am worried because I read up on the drug and there seem to be some serious side effects. Can anyone share their experiences with me?

Just the uncomfortable feeling in bbs. I don't think I should feel anything because I am only 4 dpiui. BBS have just been really uncomfortable. I have also been really tired, but I think that is from all the medicine they put you on. :) How about you?

I believe you can take prometrium to do the same. I am wondering if i am not pregnant if my af will start while i am on the prometrium. I am not sure if the test they are doing is quantitative. Maybe they are just interpreting the numbers and telling if i am pregnant or not.

I was wondering if taking the Prometrium at night and in the morning could be triggering bleeding? This is not like any miscarriage I have ever had. I guess I am still pregnant. I tried to get my OB to do hcg again today (48 hrs) after last level to just give me some peace of mind either way. They told me to wait until next week for U/S. ANY advice is helpful!!!! Thank you. If you are using Crinone or Prometrium, begin the medication when you wake up in the morning starting the day after your egg retrieval. If you are using intramuscular progesterone, begin it either in the morning or the evening of your egg retrieval. Is there anything else I need to know if I am taking Crinone? me and my husband are ttc and we thought we had done it but the negative i got this morning really upset me. I still have not had my period and now I get a negative today after 4 very faint posatives. any suggestions ???

It usually takes 1-2 days for me to start AF after going off of Prometrium if I am taking two a day one in the morning and one at night.

I took 2 prometrium pills at night just because they make me very dizzy and there was no way I could take them in the morning and be able to function at work. The estace I took 2x a day and I had chest pain with them. The prometrium is progestrone and that is to help with your lining. I was also told that estace, which is estrogen was supposed to help me with my lining and my Doctor also told me it helps my chances with getting pregnant. Good luck this month. Is anyone here on Prometrium now or used it in the past? I have had 6 miscarriages in the past, most recent one was twins Christmas Day. I just got a BFP Saturday night and went and had my 1st Beta drawn this morning as well as my progesterone level. Well we are expecting horrible weather, ice and up to 20 inches of snow, so my OB's office decided to close at 2:30 this afternoon and for will be closed tomorrow, possible the rest of the week.

t exactly comfortable with taking them because my doctor informed me that prometrium is not fda approved. I decided not to take the medication. When I returned to the doctor a week later, he said that my hormone level came back at 12.4 and informed me that that is extremely low. He said that my body would have had to have produced more of the hormone otherwise I would have already miscarried. (Before the appointment with him, I had an ultrasound done that confirmed everything was normal.

I mentioned to her that their is no way I can pysically function at work if I take it in the morning and then she told me to take two at night. I can tell you one thing I fall a sleep fast taking 2.

Bny807 - I have no side effects except my urine is more concentrated. Also, I believe I take 200 mg morning and evening vaginally. I think it is better to do it twice a day. But ask your RE first! Anya.

I was thinking back and i think the first 2 days I took it it did make me feel a bit ill (I think I posted about it back then) but then it was like I wasn't even taking anything...felt just fine. Who knows. But I still feel like yuck.

I was prescribed prometrium since the month of Feb. In Feb.,I ovulated with the help of clomid and prometrium. My progesterone levels were 34. In March my cycle never came and I contacted my Dr on Apr. 9 letting her know I never had my cycle. She schedule me to take some test to take . On 14 my cycle visited and was very weird . her instructions for the prometrium is to take on cycle day 16 and continue to take until a cycle comes. I stopped taking the prometrium th week before I called her.

Then like 2 minutes later I ended up getting sick in the bathroom and lying on the bathroom floor in the salon with horrible lower stomach pain feeling like I was dying. She had to take the foils out of my hair and wash it out and my husband ended up having to come get me. It lasted for about 20 minutes then I felt better. The weird part is that just shortly after this while I was at the Dr. I started my period!! My doctor checked my appendix and did blood tests and everything...
