Avatar f tn For getting toned just do leg workouts. I believe if you do moderately low weight, but lots of reps is the best way to tone. Biking is my favorite method. If it is fat around your hips/legs there is no way to target that. Your body starts storing from one area and moves to another the more you gain. And fat loss works the same. First place you gain it is the last to lose it. Running is my favorite way of taking care of fat.

Avatar f tn When I got to my second trimester I just did longer walks and some other cardio low impact workouts.. now being almost 32 weeks.. I still do a 45 minute cardio workout and a ton of leg and butt exercises..it is whatever is comfortable for you..

Pregnancy has made me so self concious, I am not wanting this for anyone else but I want to FEEL okay with myself. I didn't realise how upset I would be and worried about gaining weight. I know its all for my beautiful baby boy and it is perfectly normal but I feel like sh!t. So far I am 19 weeks so haven't gained anything yet but I will and I am just worried.

Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar f tn If you don't like workouts like me, try beach bodys rockin body workout (its kind of like zumba but not as intense). Its super fun and easy. Plus it doesn't look like you're working out, just dancing. Don't let anyone keep you down. You'll get to your goal weight! I believe in you! Same with you morgan1342.
Avatar m tn I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

Avatar f tn Feels like I did a ton of lunges or other leg activity after minor workouts. Almost burning feeling sometimes. They have felt kind of jelly like a couple times after exercise but not a usual thing. Some spasms... Usually okay if not walking or standing for an extended period of time, but will start to ache when doing so. Hot baths seem to help best. I also have this consistent need to want to stretch. Pain initially started the same day that I had a stomach bug. Not sure if it is a coincidence.
Avatar f tn d say squats back workouts ,YouTube has so many good workouts for pregnant women u can watch if u dont kno how to do them... And eating healthy , i only gained like 10bs ,in my pregnancy... but everyone is diff, the more your active the quicker you get back in shape..
Avatar f tn Try walking a lot, swimming, even house cleaning works, yoga is an absolute must do. Little exercises you can do at home like squats, or arm/leg workouts. At the end, as long as you keep yourself active everything should be fine! Good luck Hun!
