Try other alternatives like Ibuprofen, etc. I have chronic pain from a badly broken leg, among other things. After quitting pain pills I actually discovered that RX Ibuprofen or other anti inflammatory drugs, like shots do help. I am able to get through my days without a great deal of pain. s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

Has anyone broken their Tibia and fibia? I broke mine two years ago and am still having problems. I have a plate and eleven screws. I am thinking of having them taken out in the hopes that it will releive some of the discomfort. Any information from someone who has done this would be great.

I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine?
