Yesterday as I put my razor down after shaving, my toddler came into the bathroom, picked it up and rubbed it on his hand. I grabbed it from him immediately but noticed some broken skin around the nail cuticle. (I am unsure if this was caused by said razor or not). I did not notice any blood on the razor but there was a tiny spot of blood appear on my leg a minute later so I must have nicked myself before my child took it.

m pretty clumsy and have had some pretty hard falls before, but never broken a bone in my life. Anyways, the Dr just gave me some pain meds and put a brace around my ribcage, and then sent me on my way. He said there really wasn't anything else that could be done. How long will this take to heal? What kind of activities should I avoid? I'm a 29 yr old female with a toddler, so I'm pretty active. Are there any warning signs that could signify that it's getting worse?

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

Its been a crazy day! I'm 39 weeks 2 days. I had contractions ALL night which is pretty typical for me except last night they were a lot more intense. Then as I'm trying to get my 2 yr old out the door for daycare & work he throws up. Spend the next hour cleaning vomit & finding sub's for work. Then after another very sad hour we finally settle down. Lunchtime comes & my toddler asks for crackers & cheese.

The smoke detector has been sitting on counter since Feb. Smh! We have a bag of batteries in junk drawer. Its ready to go. But we have vaulted ceilings! And oh ya, my broken leg!! Lol. So it waits for bf......

Any other moms out there suffering from restless leg syndrome? I'm 33 weeks pregnant and miserable at night!!! What have you done to ease the discomfort? Any tricks that work? Thanks!

s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. This baby dropped at 28wks and my dr says he is almost certain this baby has broken it again. I'm scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?

my son had nenmonia which led to ostomialitus and a broken leg. this was all eighteen months ago. he is now 3 and a half years old but still walks with a very stiff leg and can not walk up and down stairs with out putting his hand on his knee to use as a support or for leaverage. he has recovered his muscle lost which happened due to his broken leg. Has anyone broken their Tibia and fibia? I broke mine two years ago and am still having problems. I have a plate and eleven screws. I am thinking of having them taken out in the hopes that it will releive some of the discomfort. Any information from someone who has done this would be great.

I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine? Also do you think it's possible that my penis did not fully develop to it's full potential size due to the fracture?

Hi about a year ago while i was doing jumping jacks i pulled a muscle in my left leg now i have a pain in my inner groin, when i step a certain way or try to do any jumping exercises.

In 2019 bolt came out in right leg and lodged so I could straighten leg, needed a revision had it done. In July 2022 left leg started swelling bolt came out and floating around, had a revision in October 2022! Last Saturday woke up to go to the bathroom couldn't straighten leg couldn't walk very painful, the bolt came out AGAIN 6 months after it was done and the threads were stripped on the bolt and it broke into pieces. Had a revision last week got home yesterday 5/5/23.

My poor Leo, his front left leg and paw are very swollen! The story goes like this... About a week ago he took a fall from our room while chasing squirles., Well the LEG was slightly swollen for just a little while. Maybe day and half. but then he was fine. walking,jumping, and chasing those dang squirles again. lol I thought he was fine. Well today I get home from work and his poor leg and paw r so swollen.
