My poor Leo, his front left leg and paw are very swollen! The story goes like this...
About a week ago he took a fall from our room while chasing squirles., Well the LEG was slightly swollen for just a little while. Maybe day and half. but then he was fine. walking,jumping, and chasing those dang squirles again. lol
I thought he was fine. Well today I get home from work and his poor leg and paw r so swollen. Im afraid he has broken it.
they constantly rotated her legs and stretched them out again to check her hips before fracture was dianosed. then they put a cast on on the bottom of her leg instead of the top. would all of these mistakes have made the fracture worse than it originally was.
Believe it or not, my van ran over my leg 3.5 weeks ago. Long story short: I thought I had it in park, but it was in reverse. I got out and it started rolling away backward downhill & I tried to chase it down the driveway. I never made it inside & fell, getting my left left run over by the front tire. Ouch, to say the least! Miraculously there were no broken bones, but of course LOTS of contusions, swelling and pain.
I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone.
He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
d and they told me to come in I was still not steadily leaking they checked me and sure enough my water had broken I had a high tear so I get admitted and hours late I feel a pop and my water broke more when I got to about a 4 cm they checked me and there was still water that hadn't broke so probably 3 hours of finding that out they broke the rest I got my epidural and then waited altogether 23 hours then on feb 23rd at 8:02 my baby girl was born weighing 7 pounds 14oz and 20 inches long all
I went to have my water broken Monday at 7am. I was given an IV for penicillin because I was positive for GBS. I had to wait four hours for that to kick in. At about 12pm I was given pitocin to make my contractions more regular. The contractions weren't bad. At about 2pm my water was broken. Contractions started coming like every 3 minutes but still weren't that bad.
We found Beckett a few months ago as a 9-month-old stray that was malnourished with a broken leg. I took pity on him, while my husband ranted about not wanting a pet behind me, and he's been with us ever since. He's even won over the heart of my husband (in just a few hours, actually, LOL!). Two days ago I fell down my stairs.The top of my foot and both sides of my ankle are swollen and bruised.
Yesterday I needed crutches to get around. Today I can limp around, however, it still hurts like crazy. I don't have any medical insurance. How can I tell if it's broken or sprained. I don't have or want to spend the money to see a doctor only to get sent home with a sprained foot/ankle. Please help. I have a 2 yr old that doesnt sit down for anything. I need this to go away.
She assured me that my water had broken and I should go to the ER. I have that same radiating sharp jolting pain that goes down my leg and up my back but my MRI came back normal! I don't know how if I'm having horrible pain 3 months later after breaking my L5 transverse process. Have you had any treatments?

Went to the hospital at 6am to be induced and almost got sent home due to some wrong measurements... Was put on pitocin at 8 after having my water broken then got the epidural quickly after .... By five I was 9 and a half centimeters.... After 12min of pushing our little boy was here =) right after he was born he had trouble breathing and was sent to the nicu for an hour but bounced back..... Latched right away when breast fed...
So, my due date was the 13th. On the 10th, I woke up at 7:00 to my hubby's alarm going off for work. I got up, used the restroom, and went back to bed. I couldn't fall back asleep due to baby just wiggling around like crazy.. all of a sudden- GUSH- my water breaks.. like a dam waterfall.. I jump out of bed, and it gushes again.. thank god my hubby hadn't left yet. I yell to him my water had broken..
So at 8am yesterday morning (39w2d) I went to the hospital to have my water broken and get labor going. At 9am they broke my water and gave me the bare minimum of pitocine to get contractions going. They came on hard and fast.By 11 am I was ready to push. Just 11 minites later she was born! Hadley Capri born at 11:11 june 5th 7lbs 13oz and 19inches long.
