Last Sunday I came home to find my wife sat behind the front door, she said Brian I have broken my leg, She had been putting seed in the bird feeders and fell from the ladder , then crawled all the way up the garden ,through the house to unlock the door so I could get in. SHE was blue lighted to the hospital she has broken her TIBIA below the knee and another bone .

my legs throb to the bone, i had a vit d def, last year when the pain started, but that is back up.i'm now diabetic now, but i have severe ache throbbing pain in my legs and arm's i can't sleep on my side i'll go numb in legs & arms. the pain won't let me sleep and will wake me.
So my little bird (mr peeps) hit a running fan and now, he won't use his right toes and barely uses his leg. I can see where the fan hit him and there's a little bruise. the bruise is on his chest, above his foot.
Is he ok? what should i do? is this vet-worthy? please help i neeeeeed to know.

Horror of horrors, when I snapped the towel it actually HIT the bird and killed him. I told my mom the bird had flown into the dresser mirror and died. I still feel bad about that but honestly, I never meant to hurt it.
I think your daughter was doing something kind of like that. If you never see any more signs that she is mean to animals, I think you should let it go.
I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone.
He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
One of my neighbors had their house broken into while they were out for an early bird dinner. The doctor would not them even though they filed a police report. The supposed reason was that though their house was locked, the alarm hadn't been set. I didn't think that was fair. (And we live in a quiet neighborhood and everyone knows each other. I imagine any animal can die of fright, some are just more susceptible than others. Extreme fear and stress can cause stress myopathy which will cause the heart to stop. I've had it happen at work. It's not a pleasant thing to be examining a bird and have it die in my hands. Sure, it may have had a broken wing but the exam is sometimes too much for it no matter how quick or gentle I am.
What kind of scare did the rat have? Or is this just a question out of curiosity?

About two days ago I noticed a bruise on my left leg, upper inner thigh area. Then a day later in gym class I notice about 5 other significant bruises on my inner left leg going all the way down towards the ankle. They hurt when I touch them, and I do not recollect doing anything that would cause this streak of purple bruises. There are no bruises on my right leg.

I had my thyroid killed with radioactive iodine a year ago Jan. This happened at least two years after my endocrynologist told me I was ready. about two months ago, i assumed i had genital herpes... there were a few pimple-looking things spread out around my genital area. ironically, or not, it happened two days after i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. does it usually show up that soon? i assumed i gave it to him because we were broken up for a few months ago i had a mishap with a condom with one partner and i wouldn't be surprised that he had it. but maybe my boyfriend had it first.
