broken leg jump

It feels like iv done something more then just bruise or twist it because its gradually getting worse, iv broken my leg before and it kinda feels like that. Im a lifeguard and am worried that this is affecting my work, also soeone at work suggested i might have injured my 'scaphoid bone' (spelt wrong) does this sound possible?

I, too, found a stray with a problem. My cat's leg was broken and the vet recommended amputation. They could either surgically create a hip for the cat or amputate it's leg so that the cat could jump and run around!

Then i has surgery after 12 hrs, with a rod & 2 nails inserted only for Tibia, but they did nothing to broken fibula... Now after 11 months, I'm walking normally but still i cant run, jump & unable to climb stairs quickly... Please tell me, 1. when can i run & able climb stairs quickly? 2.

he got it stuck somehow, it accidentally got stepped on, he landed too hard from a big jump, etc. but what is worrying is that he is panting every few minutes, which can be a sign of shock. When did this happen? I would make an appointment with a vet as soon as possible for them to do an x-ray and exam. His discomfort and panting along with him dragging the leg around would warrant a trip to the vet. Let us know what happens.....

After PT I can now walk, climb stairs, ladders, jump from chair and starting to run with a limp, I walk without limp. No pain unless someone hit my injured leg area, only discomfort now and than but goes away in seconds. Soreness when I do lots of walking or play sports but no pain. Pretty much getting back to normal after a year post surgery But when I visit my doctor for follow up, X-Rays still show my tibia bone still healing on broken tibia site.

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

i started getting them at 20 weeks and it was almost everynight. i had to jump out of bed and bounce around on my leg for 5 minutes. they are so awful lol.

I started to be able to move around really well after the first month and about two or so months before they put me in a boot i was able to jump around my house on one leg for very long distances and then eventually walk around on my cast. About two or so years ago, I started to have some pain in my leg. At first it wasn't that bad just a little throbbing which happened after I got out of the cast, so I didn't think too much about it.

Hello Again! Just a quick question - I have, for the longest time, found that when I am sitting (be it at my desk at work or just watching tv) that my leg(s) can't keep from moving. Is this unrecognized anxiety? It seems to slow down / stop when I take the Xanax prescribed for me and lately, because I am paying attention, I am starting to find that I am clenching my teeth. There is nothing particular that I am feeling anxious about but I wonder if is part of the GAD and I never knew it...

I do not have restless leg syndrome, I have periodic leg movements. It is not a disorder because the leg movements do not wake me up after I fall asleep. I got this problem after developing neurological problems. If you are tired during the day, then you should talk to your doctor about having a sleep study. The leg movements can wake you up at night, and you could not even remember it!

You are so smart to refuse it with a broken leg. Is the tykenol helping quite a bit.? Funny the things that happen right when you are peeking out of the woods. Good Job! thats just the kind of thing that can set you off again!

We found Beckett a few months ago as a 9-month-old stray that was malnourished with a broken leg. Im 32 weeks and been having very bad upper thigh cramps middle of the night, its that bad sometimes i jump out of bed and can never sleep again during the might as it continues to happen, anyone else experience this and anyway to avoid it?

s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

Does anyone else experience leg pain in just one leg that makes you jump a little?

I have to say I am dissapointed with myself - by the time it gets to the one leg hoping over the line I can only manage about 5....gosh Im weak!

It only just occurred to me a few minutes ago that the nausea and digestive disturbance I've had twice in the last week could possibly be related to my Vicodin. Long story short: my leg was run over by my van 5 weeks ago today (I know it's insane!), and amazingly no bones were broken. There was, obviously, LOTS of bruising, swelling, PAIN, nerve damage, and I was off work for 3 weeks with my leg elevated.
