333672 tn?1273792789 I did read your journal and it's very interesting. Sorry about your broken bone. It's not easy walking in those boots. Also sometimes when we write something we may not think it's interesting but when in fact it may help others. I'm sending you some hugs and hope you keep getting better.
Avatar m tn Ever since the tracker UI update, I can't make journal entries. When I fill out the journal entry dialog and click "done" I am taken to the log in screen. I've tried three different browsers (Chrome, IE, FireFox) and have gotten the same result with all of them, so it doesn't appear to be a browser issue. It's almost been a week since this has been broken. I presume this problem has already been reported and is being worked on?
1415174 tn?1453243103 I have been out of shape (deconditioned) and sitting for several years due to several injurines. I have been walking 2 miles a day but then I joined a gym and got a personal master trainer. He has been working with me twice a week for two months now. I have been doing very well. But today I had eaten breakfast (whole grain cereal, banana and soy milk) and had 3 cups of herbal tea and two glasses of water before I went to him and I did about 3 sets of ten dead lifts of 5 lbs then 18 lbs.
Avatar m tn I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

644974 tn?1312758070 Are you trying to write a journal through the Journal interface or through the Tracker interface? On My MedHelp, on the Journals panel, you should see a link that says, Write a new journal entry. If you click that, you should see a form that has text boxes for Title, Journal Entry and Tags. Do you see that?
976084 tn?1270872439 I don't want to copy and paste what I wrote in my journal but if someone thinks they might want to help me can you please read it. Thank you for anyone who actually does...

502069 tn?1210230091 which seems to get rid of the pain i had ( withdrawals ) and I used that for about 6 months before running out. I had leg cramps for a few weeks and that was about it. I didnt think much about much about it all after that. My life returned to normal. That is until I was introduced to oxycontin for recreational use. My use began to slowly increase until it was daily..I even resorted to using heroin for a few weeks. I was doing all that for about 6-8 months.
Avatar f tn Hi ..right leg broken severly after 7 months no improvement in bone..
1542537 tn?1293207098 Hi, broken bones take a varying amount of time to heal, mostly depending upon the type of bone broken, the age of the person, and the way in which the bone is broken. Larger broken bones, for example the bones in the thigh, or both bones of leg would take a great deal longer to heal, usually six weeks to three months in the average healthy adult. Begin physical therapy as soon as is practical. That will help.
Avatar f tn Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. This baby dropped at 28wks and my dr says he is almost certain this baby has broken it again. I'm scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?

Avatar f tn Has anyone broken their Tibia and fibia? I broke mine two years ago and am still having problems. I have a plate and eleven screws. I am thinking of having them taken out in the hopes that it will releive some of the discomfort. Any information from someone who has done this would be great.
Avatar m tn I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine? Also do you think it's possible that my penis did not fully develop to it's full potential size due to the fracture?
Avatar n tn Tibia is the shin bone that bears most of the weight and the Fibula is the splint bone located on the outside of the lower leg. In the case of a closed fracture there may be swelling and discolouration due to the large amounts of blood that emanate from a fractured bone. The usual healing time for a mid-shaft Tibia and Fibula fracture treated with cast immobilisation is 12 to 16 weeks.
Avatar n tn Hi about a year ago while i was doing jumping jacks i pulled a muscle in my left leg now i have a pain in my inner groin, when i step a certain way or try to do any jumping exercises.
Avatar f tn The usual period for healing is around 6-8 weeks, but lower leg fractures take a little more to recover. The initial one week period is also taken into account. Follow up is advised every two weeks to see whether alignment is proper or not. In case of misalignment found at any point of treatment surgery might be necessary. Hope this information was helpful. Best.
Avatar f tn I was hooked up to pitocin at 6:10 am, water was broken at noon, my son was here at 5:04 pm. It all just depends on your doctor, hospital and their procedures. Best to discuss it witj your doctor!
