a horse kicked me in my thigh 2 weeks ago , iwent to the hospital to get it checked i had an exray and there were no fractures.

I get them pretty bad. Especially at night. I started eating a banana in the morning and then 1 before bed and that seems to help some. I think my restless leg is what brings them on still but like I said it's been a little better since the bananas.

I'm 35+5 and two nights ago I woke up with the worst charlie horse . And my leg is still aching from well more like my calf muscle . only in my right leg.

I'm 29 weeks prego and this morning while stretching in bed I got a charlie horse in my left leg. Oh my gosh it was the most painful experience I had during this pregnant yet. Has anyone else experience a charlie house during their pregnancy?

Woke up with the worst Charlie horse in my life. It started in my calves and pain shot up to my hamstring. Also it caused me to have some contractions just in my stomach not back. I can barely walk cuz it's still sore. Anyone experienced this during your pregnancy?

It actually woke me out of my sleep :'( All I done was stretch my leg to change position and it froze. The cramp was so bad and I was unable to move my leg from the knee downwards for about a minute. It was such a scare.

Hi I had a terrible accident a few years ago.A horse stepped on my upper leg full force,it missed the bone,but tore all the tissue.I never had the rest checked out.My question is could that have damaged the motor neuron,and if so what would happen?And like I said in another post i'm having tremors,muscle weakness,nerve pain ect.

How much worse are labor pains than a charley horse in ur leg? 10 x worse? 20? 100?

hi I am 31 weeks FTM and since 2 weeks ago my back,pelvis and right leg have been hurting non stop, I can't walk properly, can't turn around in bed easily and the only way to sleep without pain is with my maternity pillow (it is heaven)... I also had a prenatal massage, it was amazing but didn't help with my back pain.I feel like a broken grandma. My doctor said its normal, but she says everything is normal. Are you guys experiencing this too?

I only get leg cramps when I stretch while I am sleeping. These are very painful,sometimes makes me yell out. But if I stretch while awake, nothing happens. Anyone know why this is?

My horse fell on my leg as we were walking up a hill. She fell with her legs pointed uphill. She rocked back and forth four times before I was able to get my leg out from under her. No broken bones, however the pressure of her weight broke my skin behind my knee. 25 stitches. My whole leg is covered with bruises. The accident happened 12 days ago. My calf keeps filling up with fluid. I have had fluid removed 4 times.

But the main problem is that it would be a high place to fall from, and some of the awkward ways we fall when we fall off a horse are really conducive to broken bones or worse. And horses are not very smart for their size, they can kick very unexpectedly if you are walking in the wrong place in relation to their field of vision. I knew a teenager who died from a kick to the stomach, and an adult (well experienced with horses) who died from a kick to the head.

Ladies ... Does anyone know how to relieve leg crampss I had the WORST Charlie horse yesterday and my calf is so sore still but my legs are cramping and they just hurt so much :( what can I dooo .??

My daughter was in aaccident where she was on her horse and another horse broke free from his pasture, came over, and kicked her horse. Her horsethen ran into a tree with her still on it. She went face first into the tree and was flung backwards with her feet still in the sturrups.she has sustained both her legs broken, multiple facial and skull fractures, a brain injury and brain bleed .

My leg feels like it was hit by a Mack truck. Ouch. I woke up at 4 am and moved my foot and pain straight up my calf all the way to my hip bone. My calf muscle is still really tight. Anyone else getting these wonderful pregnancy charlie horses yet? Goodness.

Hi all, I was up all night with horrid leg pain. The muscles in my right foot and then my right calf started the fun. The worst was by far my left shin muscle. I have verry muscular legs due to the way that I walk. I have never had any MS problems with my legs. I was in teh French Quarter in NO last night. I did some walking with my family. I did not do more or faster than normal. Any ideas what would cause this? It was almost solid pain for 4 hours.

Omg!! I'm 23 weeks and on occasion while I'm sound asleep I get these charley horse like cramps on the back of my lower leg. It's happened on both my left and right leg. It is SO PAINFUL and the next day my leg feels sprained. I usually just stretch my leg out and rub it until it goes away but everytime it happens I just want to scream! Does or has anyone else ever experienced this? If so, what did you do to make it stop!?

hey ladies has anyone had real bad leg cramps I'm 37 weeks and they hurt so bad I don't know how to get them gone fast enough any advice??
