The doctors at the local hospital placed a steel rod Inside the broken tibia and held it in place with 3 pins (after little research I think it is called an Intramedullary rod). For the first 3-4 years I didn't notice the the metal in my leg and lived a normal life each day, i.e. running, mild gymnastics training, caring for my elderly father(heavy lifting), and the life of a 16-20 year old. I am now almost 21.
is it possible to know whether the hymen is broken(whether the vagina is a virgin vagina) just by looking at the vagina?

She xray-d it and said that she either broke it through the growth plate at the base of the thumb or sprained it. So she put a thumb splint on it and said she can do anything she feels up to doing...gymnastics, soccer etc. The gymnastics concerns me the most with all of the weight bearing activities and knowing my daughter. My question is...Is this protocol for this injury and does it need to be treated differently if it is an actual growth plate fracture?

I went to gymnastics a few days ago and hurt my pinky (on bars). I didn't think much of it at first and just ignored it. It's been a few days and it's barely any better. Probably your hymen or cherry broke. My cherry popped with a viboratot. It popped just b4 my period started and it was an extensive period. It's quite common. It's a sucky feeling bc u didn't lose it during sex. See a DR just incase. Girls hymen can break at any age due to leg contortions or strenuous workouts. Socker and gymnastics it's quite common to happen.

I used to be in gymnastics and I got injured by bending too far forward while doing stretches. Now, 5 years later, my lower back hurts and it hurts to touch the place where the first or second bones are from the bottom. I've tried physical therapy and there I learned exercises that help relieve the pain temporarily. Is this lower back strain or something more serious? Is it a ligament that has been stretched too far? I'm afraid I might have damaged the spinal cord.
Later, I started to have the very same problems in my right leg, and arm. Back to the doc again, another EMG scheduled for 1 and a half months away, but again after a little under a month it cleared up, canceled EMG. Again just 4 weeks ago I began to have problems in BOTH legs!
I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone.
He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
As I said in my last post, I'm not counting the days but I think I'm 60 something now.
It seems like that bad time in my life is a "lifetime" behind me.
I've substituted my use with getting back to the gym, where I have spent a great deal of time in my adult life. I'm really happy with my progress, I've shot up from 197 to 216 lbs in around 6 weeks and dropped 2" in my waist. Some of my "poundages" have more than tripled.
