I broke my shattered my tib and broke my fib 6weeks ago i had a metal rod put in my leg im guessing for the tib and had 2 screws juat below my knee and 2 screws above my ankle. my question to anyone that knows is wat is the healing time for this injury? im going for my xray on 17/11/09 to c how the bone is healing and tghe hopefully i shud be able to weight bear.

was unpersonable and borderline rude when he told me he needed to keep her and xray her. He said she might have a broken back (without emotion, his lack of empathy is appalling.) I and my son are very concerned for her, she is more than a pet to us. What will the quality of her life be if her back is broken? Will we have to put her down? I broke my C1 2 weeks ago, the break was half of the horseshoe, on my right side it was broken crossways, I am in a hard collar and the doctor didnt give me hardly any information at all, Im afraid to even sneeze, after recieving a blow to the head I still walked all around, even moved my head back and forth trying to pop my neck, had no idea it was broke. You should be out within hours of surgery. I went into the ER expecting to find out I had appendicitis, ended up I had a 10x11 cm dermoid cyst in my right ovary. I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. I am going to have surgery quite soon for my herniated/broken disc. I wondered how long if anyone has had this, how long is recovery? I mean how long for pain? WIll I feel great right away and be able to do normal things? Hello, I was in a motorcycle accident, broken pelvis and some torn muscles in my leg. I had a Foley catheter inserted and left in for 3 and a half months. I was astonishingly able to void after the catheter was removed on my own. Not very much at all, maybe 1 to 2 oz. However it's been 48 hours after and i'm now voiding exactly 8 oz every 2-3 hours. I drink only water, 5-6 cups a day (10oz). I'm getting mixed answers on every urology website I review.

s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .
