t need surgery and my bone was repositioned and i was put in a cast. I had my sixteenth birthday with a cast on my right leg and i have had to cancel my driving test as i can't drive with a cast on. I will be with a full walking cast for another 2 weeks (its been 5) and then i will have a short walking cast for another 3 weeks. How long after that can i drive again and also how long until i play soccer. I will be going to physical therapy.

I will literally pull up my pants and walk away and 10 mins later feel like I have to pee. Its out of control!! I have a broken leg right now too so going is a complete pain in the a$$!!

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

My mom keeps trying to tell me I won't be able to drive. I plan on driving to and from the hospital and I will have to take my bf to and from work after. Anyone have any experience. I know I'll be sore but I think I'll be able to drive.

That was a long time ago. One broken jaw, one broken arm, two broken hands, one broken elbow, several broken fingers, several broken toes, one concussion......think I'm still feeling that one! Been shot at twice.....they missed and I pissed! I don't heal so fast now...

I woke up to fluid coming so I stood up real quick and it started trickling down my leg I then ran to the bathroom and sat on the toilet and a big gush came...then I went pee. Thing is I don't know if I peed myself or if it was my water because I didn't try to stop the big gush. Ahh any ideas. Our closest hospital is an hour away, so driving in seems a little much.

I have severe leg pain while driving or riding in a car. It feels like it is from the bottom of my buttocks and down, in both legs, especially my right leg. It starts 30 minutes after I start driving. I have tried putting a pillow under me and it helped a little but still when I get out I can barely walk for a while. Is it a nerve?? s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

I have been noticing lately that often times, while driving I will get jumping movements in my right leg. My leg and foot are extended to reach the gas pedal. It doesnt hurt when this happens. I just notice that my leg is trembling or jumpy. Is this clonus? Simple muscle fatigue. Doesnt have to be a long drive or extended period of driving for it to occur.

I've always had restless leg syndrome buy the past two weeks it has become really bad, I get it every night. I'm 30 weeks pregnant buy I really don't know what I can do to ease it. Please help it's driving me mad.

Bout 5 years ago I got shot by a high velocity rifle bullet in the lower left leg. I ended up loosing bout 60% of my calf and half of my achilles tendon in my left leg. I had alot of nerve damge from the energy of the bullet. It went into the my front of the calf right behind my leg bone bout the size of a dime and left bout a 6 inch hole out the back of my leg. After that in the hospital I got a staff infection which required multiple surgeries to remove the necrotic tissue.

I feel like I have lost so much of my independence and hold on tightly to things that are on the verge of being taken away...like driving. I, too, have vision probs and leg issues. My answer to anyone who offered to drive me was an immediate NO I CAN DO IT! I finally reached a point where I really needed to think about whether it was safe for me (and everyone else!) to be behind the wheel. Whenever I drive more than about 15 minutes, I develop pain in my right leg along the back of my thigh. I am not feeling this pain in my back or buttocks -- just my thigh and at times my right knee. Can anyone tell me what this is, and what I can do to relieve the pain? Thanks.

Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. This baby dropped at 28wks and my dr says he is almost certain this baby has broken it again. I'm scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?

The benefits of not driving are in a crash the steering wheel won't be so close to baby. Sadly, accidents in the 3rd trimester have caused some baby deaths or injury :( So, it's safe, but up to you. I imagine I will have to drive after 36 weeks, but obviously nobody can predict an accident. You have to decide what you are comfortable with.

my son had nenmonia which led to ostomialitus and a broken leg. this was all eighteen months ago. he is now 3 and a half years old but still walks with a very stiff leg and can not walk up and down stairs with out putting his hand on his knee to use as a support or for leaverage. he has recovered his muscle lost which happened due to his broken leg. His pediatrition has no answer to this stiffness, walking issue...
