Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. This baby dropped at 28wks and my dr says he is almost certain this baby has broken it again. I'm scheduled for csection next week, which is a huge relief with the pain, but he said it could take 6-12wks to heal. Was wondering what other peoples experience was? Did it get better after delivery?

I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine? Also do you think it's possible that my penis did not fully develop to it's full potential size due to the fracture?

ve described it sounds like you need to see a doctor to rule out possible serious complications like broken bones or a blood clot.

so my docter did surgery one year later, he took the nail out of my leg and replaced it with a plate and and screws, during surgery he broke my fibula to get the plate in place. i dont no why he did it but my tibia feels alot better and now my fibula is broken, my question is has anyone ever had a corrective surgery on there tibia and had there fibula broken. And how long does it take for the fib to heal and am i screwed ? i dont know what to do.

I've had my left ankle broken on sept 29, it was a fibula frature with a tibia dislocation, was on splint for a week, had surgery on oct 7th,plate + screws + a very long screw to place my tibia on the right place, splint for another week, then my orthopedist put me on aircast Air Stirrup Universe since then. He told me to start physical therapy a week after surgery, but I waited until 2 weeks. Now my foot hurts on an area that has nothing to do with the fracture.

I broke my shattered my tib and broke my fib 6weeks ago i had a metal rod put in my leg im guessing for the tib and had 2 screws juat below my knee and 2 screws above my ankle. my question to anyone that knows is wat is the healing time for this injury? im going for my xray on 17/11/09 to c how the bone is healing and tghe hopefully i shud be able to weight bear.

I am 12 weeks pregnant. I have broken out in a rash that started on my belly and arms its now on my chest, the inside of my leg and my back. They are little white bumps that look like little pimples or bug bites but their are extremely itchy. What could this be?

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

Crutch got stuck lost balance, I caught myself with repaired leg and bore weight on the leg for about 3-5 seconds before tranfering weight to crutches and other leg. Leg was in brace. No significant pain afterwards and minimal swelling. What are the possible complications for this?

Your worried about complications from surgery to remove her leg... if her leg needs to be removed that is because her chances of survival are better without the leg. there are all kinds of complications a person CAN get from major surgery. That does not mean they will get any complications. talk to her MD to get answers talking to people that dont know her or her medical info, condition, outlook... is useless you wont get pertinent info about her.

I broke my ring finger and middle finger 6 days ago. ER tried to set it, but said I need a hand surgeon to set it correctly. My problem is the HMO, I'm still waiting for referral. How long can I wait without having complications get my finger set properly. I've called everyday to try to get the ball rolling.

Hi everyone. I just had RFA to the right lumbar area Monday. Been in extreme pain since then. My leg doesn't seem to want to work really weak. And experiencing twitching in inner thigh. Has anyone else had this to happen.
