t need surgery and my bone was repositioned and i was put in a cast. I had my sixteenth birthday with a cast on my right leg and i have had to cancel my driving test as i can't drive with a cast on. I will be with a full walking cast for another 2 weeks (its been 5) and then i will have a short walking cast for another 3 weeks. How long after that can i drive again and also how long until i play soccer. I will be going to physical therapy.
2 weeks ago I was hit by a car and had my leg broken, the knee socket crushed and my shoulder broken. They performed surgery on the knee about 12 days ago and are about to do surgery on the shoulder. Both are on the left side.
Is there any set up I can use that will allow me to walk in any way? As I understand it I will not be able to use a crutch on my left side.

She used to limp very slightly on a back leg which was once broken when she was younger. The vet said she would probably grow to develop arthritis in that leg, and it did seem things might be going that way, as any change in the weather to dampness, had her 'hitching' up that leg sometimes. Since starting the Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement, she has not even done that once!
My dog weighs 28lbs and the maximum dose for her is 500mg Glucosamine and 200mg Chondroitin.

I was wondering if it is normal to still have pain when moving and unable to weight bear on the wrist which makes it difficult getting in and out of the bath, for example. It is now 8 months since the surgery and about wo weeks ago i developed a hard lump on my wrist on the thumb side which pokes out when the wrist is turned towards my little finger. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before and is it anything to worry about.
its a bit swollen but i just wanted to know if I had to bandage it up and how can you tell if its broken? l gave him some medicine for pain that we had before for my other bird but what should l do? Will the bruise heal on its own?
I'm 26 weeks and lastnight I experienced 3 really bad Charlie horse. 2 on my left leg and one on my right. Is that normal or should I check in with my doctor?
I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone.
He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.
I went to take a hot bath last night and slipped getting in the tub and I have injured the daylights out of my left leg. It hurts SO bad, and I know it is going to be black and blue. Don't think anything is broken. Bottom line is I just don't know what to do, and feel so helpless. I am seriously thinking about getting the kids and just taking off for a few days to get away. My right foot slid and remained against a balluster while my body twisted. Immediately I knew I had broken my leg and wondered if I also broke my ankle. Around 4 years ago I had an accident and was told I have bilateral pars fractures of my spine at L4. I had a few months of physio and was discharged. Ever since then I have had sciatica come and go and lots of pains in my back and legs. Recently I have started to experience sharp stabbing pains in my left shin - they only last a few seconds but are enough for me to cry out in pain and I am unable to bear weight on my leg.

At 19 chances are you've done all your growing, so the simple answer is - nothing that most people would consider worth it.
The only possible solution is major surgery, but although it is available for cosmetic purposes in some countries (not ones where you'd necessarily want to undergo major surgery) it is mainly reserved for patients with dwarfism, or suffering from a severe leg-length discrepancy - and for good reason.
He seemed fine and was back to being Bear. Today I get a call he suddenly died. Sitter said Bear was experiencing same symptoms as yesterday but with convulsions. Can someone please help? I dont have a lot of money and so cant afford autopsy. I just need some closure. Bear was my world.He came into my life when I need companionship the most and pulled me out of a deep depression. My husband picked me up this evening and gave me a large bear hug. When he squeezed, I heard/felt a pop coming from my rib cage on the left side. I was momentarily light headed and weak, and was in a bit of pain. This eased off and I was able to return to carrying my children, within half an hour. As the evening has progressed, the pain is getting stronger. It hurts when I move certain ways, pick up either of my children ( 40lbs, 15lbs), and cough or laugh.
