and as i work in a care home looking after the elderley when can i expect to go back to work as ive now not been working for 6 weeks.

The only thing that gives me relief is pushing both feet against the wall and applying pressure. I walk like a have a broken leg or something cuz the pain is horrible even during the day. Apparently they have these weird stocking that helps with blood circulation.

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

Felt a gush of fluid so i stood up and it all ran down my leg. While walking to the bathroom it continued to drip. Made it to the hospital and the first test she did said it wasnt my water!!!

my questtion is im still getting pain at the fracture site and im still walking with quite a heavey limp could anyone tell me how long i will have the limp and the odd nagging pain at the fracture site or will i have this for life? i have a rod and 3 screws in my leg to would it be advised to have these taken out after full bone healing and could this be contributing to the limp and pain.

s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

s leg makes this crunching feeling when you touch/move it, the vet also said she felt that but said it was not broken bones. If not broken bones then what is it? And how long should I expect it to take to be better? I know with humans it can be around 6-8 wks....is it the same with animals?

Hi ladies I'm 14 weeks and I have a tooth coming in right next to my other teeth or a piece of one of them broke off, I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if I can go to the dentist and have anything done about it. Someone told me we can't have dental work done while pregnant but I didn't know for sure. Have any of you had anything like this done while pregnant?

On Jan 13th, I slipped and fell on tile floor at the hospital I work at landing on my hip and wrist. The pain was instant. The hip pain started only on the part of impact. Once I started physical Therapy 3 weeks after injury, I felt and heard a loud crack in the hip. It has since hurt to sit for extended periods, sit at 90 degree angle, stand, and walk more than 2000 steps. If you are in PT now, i highly recommend that you stick to your PT instructions, take some pain killers before hand and work hard at getting your range of motion back. I cant go to PT for 18 months, because of the extend of my injury, they want to just try and get me walking first, because with a hawkings type three fracture, theres chances of bone collapse, which would lead to another surgery to fuse the anklebone.

I may not be qualified due to my broken leg. My blood vessels to my leg would also be compromised. If that does not pan out, he thought I would be on Doxil. Has anyone been on Doxil? Success? Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby. About two days ago I noticed a bruise on my left leg, upper inner thigh area. Then a day later in gym class I notice about 5 other significant bruises on my inner left leg going all the way down towards the ankle. They hurt when I touch them, and I do not recollect doing anything that would cause this streak of purple bruises. There are no bruises on my right leg.

my son had nenmonia which led to ostomialitus and a broken leg. this was all eighteen months ago. he is now 3 and a half years old but still walks with a very stiff leg and can not walk up and down stairs with out putting his hand on his knee to use as a support or for leaverage. he has recovered his muscle lost which happened due to his broken leg. I fell at work and hurt my ankle. When I got up I could barely walk on it. I immediately went to the doctor for x-rays. The x-rays did not show that the ankle was broken. When I left the doctor's office, I barely made it to the car, it hurt so bad and I absolutely couldn't walk on it. The doctor told me to get crutches, ice and elevate it for a few days and if it didn't get better, call him and he would refer me to an orthopedic doctor.

Has anyone broken their Tibia and fibia? I broke mine two years ago and am still having problems. I have a plate and eleven screws. I am thinking of having them taken out in the hopes that it will releive some of the discomfort. Any information from someone who has done this would be great.

I Honestly do not know what kind of Information I am supposed to provide for a response. I just wanted to know who had the surgery and what their pain was like after surgery. I AM NOT GOING TO USE A TENS UNIT!! I have used one and it was USELESS! I still have it packed away and never want to see that piece of crap again. It didn't work on my back and didn't work on my neck/head only to make that pain worse. I am having LUMBAR Disc Surgery.

Hi about a year ago while i was doing jumping jacks i pulled a muscle in my left leg now i have a pain in my inner groin, when i step a certain way or try to do any jumping exercises.
