My dad had a stoke like 8 years ago. When it jappened he lost his speech,the use of his right arm but was able to walk but the right leg Didnt work as good as the left. Now his foot is dragging badly he is getting weaker, more confused and i believe thata from the stroke.Now all of a sudden his legs are starting to swell,good side worse but swellare swelling and becoming painful I wondered if you could suggest what is going on with him please?

My 88 year old mother had a pretty severe stoke almost 3 weeks ago. She was totally unresponsive when it first happened, just lying in bed starring at the ceiling. Now I find out because of the by-pass last year I have a 50 percent renal blockage on right kidney from scare tissue, right leg is blocked (almost entire leg). And small anerisum. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. Has anyone broken their pelvis during pregnancy? I broke mine in a car accident years ago and never had any problems with my first baby.
