I too developed the red rash on my inner ankles and lower leg this week at Disney! Hours of walking and heat but would be very interested to know what this is. Area is like a burn from an iron, very localized, hot to the touch and bright red. Maybe environmental? Insecticides?

Anyone else play disney music for their baby? I've read that baby's hearing is developing. Baby seems to like it. Moves around when I put it on.

It appears all of the MS walks are participating in this program - and you don't have to volunteer a full day. Children over the age of 6 can also volunteer. Universal has 2 parks and is a one day deal really, two days at the most. Disney on the other hand has 4 parks, so you need at least 4 days to really enjoy them. You can also maybe fit in SeaWorld in there....It offers some great shows. One tip though....If you do decide to go to Epcot (one of the disney parks), make sure you make dinner reservations way ahead of time, or you won't be able to eat at a nice sit down restaurant without it. I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

s my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

Hey girl, I am SO glad you had a wonderful trip! I am curious how I would handle traveling right now. My issues are less leg related and more tremor's when I get exhausted or over-heated. I am not sure how to combat that. I don't think a wheelchair will help with that. Are you going to post pictures?

Well, as I do agree that your child should be able to remember going, I will say that I have seen newborns down at Disney. DH and I went in September before we started TTC, and we saw children of all ages down there. Now, I have only been to the Florida parks. They do have areas for breastfeeding and changing (presented by Nestle, I think). If you are staying at a Disney hotel, just be aware that you will need to fold up your stroller, if you are using your own, while on the buses.

You're going to have a grand time at Disney World. I've been three times and enjoy each visit. Yes, the weather this time of year is hot and humid so be sure to carry with you a good size bottle of water to keep hydrated, and pace yourself. The parks are huge so do not attempt to see/do everything in one day. Don't worry for there are lots of sit down places to nourish your body with a variety of foods from around the world.
