My daughter who is 23 and has had her gallbladder out almost 3 yrs ago tongue turned black after vomiting this evening. I remember when she had her surgery her tongue did that and the nurse called the doctor and he said somethng about the acid in her stomach, I think? Anyway I was wondering what is causing this?

Do you see any part of the puppy in the vaginal area when she pushes? Any discharge, like a green color?
The puppy could be too large, be breech, turned, two pups at the bottom of the horns at the same time....... Christmas or not, I woukd probabky be contacting your Vet or the ER clinic.
Why are you breeding this dog? You should be more educated then you seem to be.

my dad has been having trouble with his chest since he was bit on the head last year by a black widow in sierra leone,i'v just been on the phone with him for him to tell me he's been gettin chest pains throughout the day and this afternoon it looked like something inside was sucking in his chest and like something was wriggling/crawling around in there,he said that lasted over an hour,him and my mum could both see this happening,what do you think it could be?

Don't know if I'm posting in the correct section but the problem is in my mouth. Every morning when I wake up, I have this Brown gunk that's in my mouth. It's on my tongue, the roof of my mouth, on my teeth and in the back of my throat. If I drool during the night, it leaves a brown patch on my pillow. It's gross!
I realize this is an old post but since I've been taking iron my tongue is black and it's staining some of my teeth as well. I've read that baking soda may remove the stains from my teeth and I plan to try that.
I have a Ragdoll/Siamese cat that is 9months old. He is really furry so I try to comb him daily. However, being his age he does fight me consistently. However, within the last month, he has been more receiving of my every other day grooming. I believe that this is because he is getting his winter coat. With that said, he is now constantly scratching his neck. I have noticed over the last month or so that he has black "flakes" in his fur.
In summer, the nose turns black or close to black. Yellow labs are more prone to this, but can happen in other breeds too. I would at least call the vet and ask, they will tell you to bring her in, but that is O.K., as that will ease your mind. Is your lab outside and if so is it cold where you live?
A black, hairy tongue is a temporary, harmless condition. It typically results from an overgrowth of bacteria — and sometimes yeast — in the mouth.
Some tips for removing the discoloration include:
Gently brush your tongue with a toothbrush twice a day.
Rinse your mouth with diluted hydrogen peroxide (one part peroxide to five parts water) or apply it with a toothbrush. Rinse your mouth with water afterward.
If this doesn't resolve the problem, consult your dentist or doctor.
It was a large mass on the back of her tongue that turned colors. from white to black. It was non cancerous, benign and now at the age of 14 it is back. It has been back for awhile. It is large white tumor like on the back of her tongue. The doctors want to remove it again. I cannot find anything on this that is not sexually related. It looks similar to a large wart. The doctors are always perplexed. Have you ever seen anything like this before.
Could be yeast but the brown spot is not associated with yeast there is a condition called black hairy tongue that can cause a brown or black spot on the tongue also what most people think is thrush is usually just bacterial coated tongue (quite common) only your DR or dentist can DX thrush. Either way I would follow up with a DR.
I felt an inflamation of my throat , i went to the pharmacy and they prescribe to me antibiotics (Cefadroxil / Biodroxil), i am still in the course , but i am astonished now that my tongue is black , Does these antibiotics affect and change the tongue color to Black ? . Before about two weeks my tongue was white and Dr. said to me that was fungels, but now it is black !
There is no way that the black and blue cohosh would contain cocaine. Only if some individual placed the coke in a mixture ............
I just found a pin-sized black mole on my tongue while brushing my teeth. It's like one of my taste buds dark and round. I'm pretty sure it's a mole and not food or anything. It looks like any other mole you might find on your body. I thought it was strange that moles could grow on tongues?? So I am wondering if this could be cancer?
