Common Questions and Answers about Best diet pills message board

Avatar n tn I followed the protocol in KT's book and began my diet on the third day but Dr. Simmeon's protocol says to gorge for 3 days and then begin the diet. I don't know why there is a day difference in the protocols. Also I noticed that DR. Simmeon says to eat white fish but in KT's book he is specific about the white fish being halibut, Chilean sea bass, flounder or sole. Is anyone following just Dr. Simmeon's protocol and if so are you eating other white fish like orange roughy or tilapia?
Avatar n tn Oh well, I hope no one buys this product because I believe it is all in the diet and not in the shots, powder or pills themselves. If you do choose to go this route, Than I truly wish you the best of luck and hope it works wonders for you cause being fat ***** and if you put your money and faith into this product in hopes of losing weight than I cannot help but want to root you on in your journey.
Avatar f tn Organic natural things only, is truly the best way to lose weight on this diet. He says NO Splenda, and definitely nothing with sugar ever. Read the manual before you start this diet, you can find it online and print it out, that's what I did. There is also a book by Kevin Trudeau, called "weightloss cures they don't want you to know about". There is a food list in that book as well.
748543 tn?1463449675 For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
Avatar n tn I agree with tomskat. Now is the time to get her off of them. I hope your holding the pills for her. Even with the best intentions, opiods are highly addictive. She might feel yucky fo a bit once she goes CT but the WD will go away. She needs to just know this is all part of the process. I hope she is well informed of pain med addiction. A lot of people start off taking the meds for pain and end up full blown addicts. I'm not saying this to scare you but knowledge is power.
Avatar n tn Well, I still have some mountains to climb! I want next to stop taking everything, I mean no more pills period (other than Vitmains). For me, that means pitching the Ibuprofren, Excedrin, and Zanaflex I use for my back, and letting my body's natural defenses take over. This will NOT BE EASY. For those who accept my challenge, I will support you and lead the effort here, while you go walk through the fire. I will do anything to support you guys when you accept!
Avatar m tn Eating healthy will keep your health problems to a minimum, so know your diet is helping you in so many other ways. Don't give up, get answers! I wish you all the best.
Avatar n tn My colitis at one point was so bad, I remember sitting in the bathroom for over 5 hours. My GI is the best, he still does'nt fully give the diet change the credit to my healed colon but he does recomend I stick with my diet.
415867 tn?1323369103 Incorporate exercises in daily routine to promote weight loss (to be in ideal weight for height range). Maintain low fat and low carb diet.  Hope this message finds you well. Any updates so far??

Avatar n tn then let them go home, no explanation nothing! What is really scarry is they called in RX diet pills, I am not about to get that rx filled until someone explains that EKG to me & assures me I am ok. I have another apt on 9/24, plan to let them have it then, surely if things not ok with EKG she would not have given me the RX??? hmmmmm you never know about docs though.
Avatar n tn i posted previously just one question - but i have many - my drug of choice started as vicodin but ended at canadian 222's as i extracted the codeine from them - all started for back pain and nerve damage relief. i still possess the codeine pills, used to do the equivalent of 300mg codeine a day, but i have found it extremely uncomfortsble to do a cold turkey withdraw i have now cut down to 2 - 4 pills a day (about 16-32mg) - which is making it a little easier - is this the way to go?
Avatar f tn I almost had a heartattack last year from diet meds my dr prescribed, and I've had 2 full panic attacks that have landed me in the ER since then. I was taking Valium when my anxiety got really bad, but I can't now bc I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Soooo, with that, I have to go to the dr every month. The last time I was at the dr, my pulse jumped to 138 just bc they took my blood pressure. They say no meds for anxiety are safe during pregnancy, so I don't know what to do.
Avatar n tn It is probably the 10 mg, because that would be 300 mg a day which is a little more that what I was taking every day. I think that it is the best thing for you not to supply your dad with the pills anymore. My father was in the Vietnam war and got shot and had serious injuries. When he was in the hospital he started to receive pain pills and for the next 20 years after that he was hooked on them.
Avatar m tn I went to another GI and he did an ultra sound and he said I has a very minor fatty liver and this was probably due to alcohol and bad diet but would reverse itself. Again, this was my green light that my condition was not serious. Here I am 7 years later and have giving up on the LFT's as they are either normal or elevated ALT/AST depending on the day. The Upper right quad is still the same as it was 15 years ago.
1069452 tn?1256603637 We don't have a choice. I have four pills which I will do my best to split into two days and then I'm done for good. I'm 35 y/o, married to a beautiful wife whose five months pregnant with a little girl, and I already have a seven year old son. What was I thinking? But we can't cry over spilled milk, as corny as that sounds. We're where we are. It is what it is. You and I, and thousands of others in this forum and around the world are going through the same thing.
359750 tn?1198391425 The most of these I would take in a day would probably be 12-16 pills. I decided I didn't want this addictive opioid to take over my life. My prescription ran out, and even though I had another refill I didn't want to refill it. I want to quit! I started yesterday morning. I took my last pill at 9am yesterday. It is now 10pm the day after. It has been hell. Cold sweats, chills, goosebumps, runny nose, and the thing that bothers me the most is my restless legs.
Avatar f tn Naloxone is ONLY included in pills to deter people from Injecting their Pills, because Naloxone that is injected will antagonize opiates (kick the opiates off of their receptors) and cause horrible withdrawal symptoms. However, naloxone taken orally is said to have NO effect. (Some debate this, though -- they say it 'gives them headaches.') However, naloxone's cousin (or is it brother) NalTREXone, actually DOES have oral bioavailability.
Avatar f tn That is an excellent approach. I know that's not what you expect to hear. I've been thinking (and maybe saying), you've got to backfill your life with good stuff, good feelings as substitutes, before you can let go of the pills successfully. Can i suggest, meanwhile, using the pills a differently. Using them to keep away the withdrawals. And to do highs, but trying to let go of the high use. Doing a more routine, mundane, predictable schedule so they are less of a non-physical crutch.
Avatar f tn Hi, everyone. First-time poster (on any message board...ever!) here. I've been reading lots of posts on this site and it is comforting to see that I'm not going through this alone. Sorry for the long rambling but here goes: Some background: I'm 24 and have a history of irregular and painful periods (cramping that makes me bed ridden, nausea/vomiting, etc.). Though doctors have suggested endometriosis, etc. before, I have only pursued treatment in the past few months.
325405 tn?1262293778 My doctor told me I've had problems losing weight the last couple years (haven't lost any really) because of PCOS (something about polycystic ovarian something or other) and because of my diabetes and insulin resistance. I can't take stuff that would speed up my metabolism or diet pills because I also have an autoimmune disease (mixed connective tissue disorder) and the doctor is afraid it might mess up my thyroid function or something so won't prescribe any weight loss medication.
Avatar n tn her doctors don't seem to know a whole lot about it and only seem to have her on cumadin and a really careful diet. i am thankful i found this message board and i'm gonna send her some of this info, hopefully it will help. thank you.
Avatar m tn My wife and I have a low potassium diet and need to supplement with 1.5g to 2.5g per day depending on how active we are and how much milk we drink for added protein. We are getting a lot of contradictory info about potassium supplementation products. We have been told by a PA and MD that that we are wasting our time taking OTC potassium gluconate because it is not being absorbed. Online comments often repeat the same message.
Avatar n tn you sound like a strong family, and will support each other through this. There are a large number of women on this message board who have gotten married and borne children prior to knowing about our hep c infections; in ALMOST every case, neither our husbands nor our children were infected. If your daughter decides to treat her HCV, hopefully she will eradicate it; in that case, she ceases to be contagious at all.
Avatar m tn so I asked my doctor to put me on diet pills.before I got on diet pills I was 60 pounds over since I am off the diet pills i'm having trouble too.
544292 tn?1268886268 I had to use my hands and arms to get up out of bed. My body has been pushed as far as it will go. So after trying all my best tricks (aminos, coffee, food, vitamins, water) I finally stopped the struggle and called in sick for work. Tomorrow will be a busier day anyhow. I've called in alot this month and last obviously because the taper made me sick and then cold turkey made me sicker. My coworker asked me if I wanted her to stop by my house with pain killers. Um. YES! But no.
Avatar f tn I've been away from the board for a bit and haven't followed how you're doing. Thanks again for your support and kindness.
