s however I have been experiencing major Urinary issues, skin burning/ irritation sensations of all my mucos membrane areas (if that makes sense) Drs say they are not aware of any of these side affects but I know long term side affects are not really known at this time.... any input would greatly be appreciated....
I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse.
I was the top and entered him (with lubrication) for approximately one minute (tops--probably more like 15 seconds). We stopped, but then later, I re-entered him (no lubrication) for approximately one more minute before stopping. I did not ejaculate in him.
I happened to see my doctor two days later for a regular appt. and he asked (as he always does) about my sexual activity.
Short-term side effects like headace were disappeared long ago. However, 4 months after the commence of treatment, there are noticeably green color veins appeared on my thigh and calf as well as the inner side of my arm. The physician in charge of my case has no idea what it happens, but it really worries me a lot. The color deepens day by day. Recently, these veins no longer be smooth but protrudes out the skin.
My partner was exposed to hiv during anal intercourse and is currently taking my Atripla. I am undetectable. Should we continue the Atripla or should he be on nPEP at all ??
s dopamine structure and that i will never be happy again or feel as good as before i began the drug use. can anybody tell me what some of the long-term effects maybe and weather i will be able to fully recover. Did i permantely damage my brain's structure? Please, i need some medical information on this. I have been looking on the internet but not much exists.
i dont know if these are possible long term effects of the drugs or something else. everyone keeps saying im having anxiety attacks but these feelings come when i am calm and seem very serious. if anyone has any advice on whats going on ,whether drug related or not,, or any advice on good doctors to go to PLEASE let me know immediatly.
BUT, I have to take it or I am in pain. So try not to worry so much about the long term effects when you are trying to survive today.
If you are worried about this I would talk to my doctor and let them know what you are experiencing and there may be something they can do differently. Just dont stop any seizure med without a doctors help.

t even fully write my prescription for Atripla. He only wrote the name of it and how long I should have it for (4 weeks.) I went to 3 pharmacies to have it filled. Had a breakdown at one because I couldn't wait another day. I needed it. Until one of the men working there said "Oh this is a once a day pill anyway. Here" and filled it for me.

I'm a heterosexual male from Thailand (Sorry for my poor English)
On the night of August 1st i had unprotected vaginal sex with a girl who i later found out to be HIV+
We had sex 3 times that night (all vaginal).
I am wondering what else would cause these perfect HIV symptoms? How long in the system does it take Atripla to work and start fighting down the HIV? How long before Antibodies are present when you have bad symptoms?
I would think you would have to have substantial antibodies to have extreme symptoms?

dont be too scared as said above few people experience sides but one thing is for sure long term use for decades is not healthy and only cirrhosis or severe damaged liver can justify such use so i'd definitely combo with other therapies so that nucs can be used short term

i wonder did a doctor tell you you had multiple chemical sensitivites....
I'm recovering from an abscessed tooth. Mine developed 3 weeks ago and 2 days lator I had to have an Endodonist drain it on an emergency basis because the swelling was already moving up to my eye. I was told to get the tooth extracted because of my medical condition (Type 1 Diabetic). After I got it drained my dentist put me on 4,000mg of Amoxicillin a day becasue I had to get rid of the infection and the swelling had to continue to go down before he extracted the tooth.
