I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse. I also noticed problems sleeping, which I still have, and just this jittery feeling that never seems to go away.

I spoke to a specialty pharmacist, who agreed with my doctor that the side effects are normal, but will dissipate after my body adjust to the meds.
It seems as though, that everyone else on this forum has no side effects or very few with this combination?
I just wondered if anyone had any experience similar to mine?

WHICH IS WHERE YOUR ID DOCTOR WANTS YOU TO BE IF YOU HAVE ONE TEAK IS RIGHT YOU NEED TO GET AN ID DOCTOR. THEY WILL KNOW MORE ABOUT HOW TO TREAT YOU.
I am taking Truvada also and Raltagravir. I asked my doctor whether I should change to Atripla but he said Raltagravir has the least side effects. However after 8 years i had two bouts of slight night sweats and am wondering what this means. What is ur CD like? Perhaps checking that may help clarify you anxieties or changing your boosters to Raltagrair might make a difference.

did Atripla can delay the seroconversion since i took it during 11 days.
In addition, I tried taking Atripla after the incident but I stopped after 2days because the side effects were way too much for me to handle (I imagine that's what LSD users go through on their high). How risky was stopping the medications after two doses?

I took that to a specialist who saw the test, looked me over and gave me Atripla to start to be safe. She also sent me off for more tests, elisa and others. I also now took a PCR DNA thats not back yet. I went to a free clinic that gave me a rapid test that came up negative. I am wondering if four days now of Atripla could cause that to be negative? I am wondering if Atripla after four days will make my DNA PCR test invalid?
While in hospital I also had a blood transfusion to counter the severe anemia. Following that episode I have been fine except for the side-effects of the HIV medication. My problem is that my LFT markers have been deteriorating, in particular, over a 2 week window period from 2 Jan to 15 Jan - see below(i used two different labs and post both their results here) - my doctor says not to worry but another doctors says I have 2 months to live. Any useful advice will be appreciated.
1. What is my risk of contracting hiv from this exposure? Very low as her viral load is undetectable.
2. Would the healed herpes sore increased my risk of contracting HIV? No.
3. Should i finish my course of PEP as i heard that it's very toxic and could lead to long term serious side effect (liver/kidney damage)? This is a standard HAART drug and the side effects aren't too bad i heard. Should finished it to guarantee no infection.
My husband was diagnosed in dec after a 5day stay in hospital discharged as neg but tild to call doc in 3days some blood work was not ready. Ehen we called they told him to go seea doc they started him on atripla. He is doing fine but he says he is neg the test r wrong. I don't want to sound stupid but since I am still neg I recently started to wonder if he is right.
I would talk to a dr asap just to be on the safe side, if those lesions were open it could possibly be a risk, is he undetectable that would bring the chances down a lot
PCR RNA at 56 days with a 5 days of Atripla in between. Could Atripla knock down primary viral load that much in 5 days to skew this test? Could it also extend my Elisa Window?
Now desipte who comes to your site or HIV anxiety run amuck does, I have no interest in making myself crazier than I am. I was not concerned that I had a sexual episode with a risky person at all. The symptoms just hit me like a ton of bricks 3 weeks after and I had to do something. So I was'nt looking for anything.
